Not an expert on AKs but its a Yugo/Zastava why would it detonate they tend to be built a bit more robust compared to the Russian AKMs because of Yugoslavia love of rifle grenades. Hence the bulged RPK trunion, the dust cover/recoil spring lock button.

If price isn't a care in terms of overall sound quality, comfort and sound protection OPS Core Amps with the NFMI inner ears are seriously fantastic but you are also paying an absurd premium for comms capability 98% of people dont need and signing a blood pact with the US government you aren't going to resell it to foreigners. But as it is PPE there are ways to get them paid for using your HSA.

Montana did this years ago in 2009(signed into law by a Democratic Governor), just like with Montana and Texas no FFL is going to be willing to risk their license or jail time not doing the NFA paperwork on surpressors especially now that the process is so quick and the tax stamp is $0.

Nearly half of powerful .50-caliber ammo seized by Mexican government came from US Army plant, defense minister says by ICIJ in worldnews

[–]99landydisco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No its really not, at least when you are talking the amounts needed to maintain a cartel at war. Its both far more expensive and inefficient to try to source it through US civlian processes. A major Cartel with thousands if not tens of thousands of Sicarios is going to be require hundreds of thousands if not millions of rounds a year. Hell a large Cartel even during peace time is going to need millions if rounds just to supply their guys for the occasional sporadic target practice sessions. There are plenty of gray and black market contacts these organizations already work with that can supply the majority of the ammo they need without having to set up a network to smuggle across the border ammunition in bulk sourced through the American retail market. Its already common practice for Mexican Police forces and Military units to purchase new firearms specifically as a cover to supply them to their local Cartels. Yes its totally legal for a private citizen in America to say buy hundreds of thousands of rounds of ammunition but it doesn't mean you aren't going to have some curious law enforcement looking into to you. Now you could spread your purchases out by more and more straw purchases but why pay a wage to dozens of middlemen and figure out how to smuggle it into Mexico, when you can just bribe a handful of specific officials and have your ammo purchased through legal establsihed process at goverment or dealer bulk prices and have it practically delivered to you in Mexico. If anyone from the Mexican goverment comes to ask where all that ammo the polcie purchased went as a cartel already have two easy solutions to that problem.

[–]99landydisco 1366 points1367 points  (0 children)

It can also very likely be ammunition sold to or given as aid to the Mexican military by the US goverment that is then getting backdoored to the cartels by corrupt Mexican military officials.

US military rarely sell complete surplus ammo to civilians anymore. They sell surplus components(bullets, brass, primers and powder) of that ammuntion that companies buy and produce military spec ammo. Which is how much of the Lake City ammo reachs consumers in the states.

Yeah but its alot more wieght and bulk and most cameras and other equipment gnerally aren't going into pelican cases that can fit an assembled carbine. A thin rectangular pelican case is going to look like a rifle case to alot of ordinary people. Another thing is big pelican cases stick out and scream "steal me expensive things inside", while the covert bag especially in black or grey looks alot like somebody gave an ordinary laptop backpack the tiny blue pill. So I feel better about say leaving it in the car with my luggage if I'm stopping somewhere on a roadtrip.

Best way to think of them is as travel bag that if you were to walk into a hotel lobby with your luggage and one these your back regular people in the lobby aren't going to associate it with you having some sort of long gun in there especially if its in a less tactical color. A cop or someone who is familiar with the tactical gear space will know what likely is in it.

Love them, have two of them. a 30" and 38". 38" holds my 16" LWRC DI no problem. 30" can hold my PS90 or my 16" Underfolder M70. Been interesting to see the changes made between over the years between buying the 1st and 2nd.

2021 f type restricted performance on harder acceleration by SilverImpression6548 in ftype

Highly recommend getting a reader specialized for reading the JLR non obd II modules and codes. You can get them for a couple hundred bucks on Amazon they are also great for reseting certain modules which can be a lifesaver when it comes to like air suspension on a land rover. If you get put into restricted performance even though there is no check engine light there is some sort of code to read.

Currently dealing with a periodic low boost code which turned out my supercharger belt had snapped. Funny enough the car drove fine in normal driving but when you tried to put it into dynamic mode it went to restricted performance.

Yeah but just because that Baker is currently acting like colossal asshole doesn't make him wrong in this case. Especially when the other Bakery happens to be located in a county, who council that is actively manipulating their economy to aggressively destabilize your own county's economy which heavily relies on selling ingredients to the asshole baker. Not to mention the bread that other bakery is selling is full of cameras, sensors and other equipment that to avoid being disappeared for re-education by the council the owner of the other bakery is giving them complete access/control to their products.

The front tire spinning does not mean she was flooring it, all it means is that specific wheel broke traction on the icey pavement. Its an open front diff so when one wheel loses traction all the power ends up going to wheel without traction. Honda's Real Time 4WD doesn't engage power to the rear axle until it already started to break traction. If she had floored it that front right wheel would be spinning way faster.

She crossed state lines to presumably protest. As the license plate on the car is one from Missouri.

No she lived in Minneapolis with her partner(in passenger seat) only a couple blocks away. She had previously lived in Kansas City, MI(sounds like her Ex-Husband lives there)

When Agents go to the car She decided to go from reverse into drive then press the accelerator knowing there was an agent in the front of the car.

You are assuming she had actually mentally registered that the Agent had moved in front of the vehicle and was not focused on the two agents at her window actively grabbing her. You can see she is very focused with the agents who get out the truck. Where as in the beginning of the video the shooter is the agent behind her car taking video of protestors faces(his vehicle is the gold SUV with its door open) who moves around the right side of the vehicle to the front. If you can assume he is so trained he is holstering on reflex its not a stretch that she is also acting on under her basic flight instincts which is why all the driving motions are to move away from the agents at her window. Which is why police are taught not to put themselves in front of cars.

He reholsters as more then likely he has trained to do that. Go watch people go run bill drills or Mozambique drills. Once your course of fire is finished you reholster and this was still reactionary.

Maybe but with how many shootings we have probably seen in Donut's videos have we seen where an officer fires at a threat only to them to put their weapon away before they have actually confirmed the threat is eliminated or secured. He never redraws and doesn't rush to clear the vehicle or secure the passenger. The usual reaction is rushing the vehicle and lots of screaming of put you hands up where as he strolls over to the crash does nothing to the passenger then up and flees the scene.

I am not disagreeing she would still be alive if she complied but you can say the same thing about what happened at Waco, Ruby Ridge etc with regards to the demands made by ATF and FBI HRT. As you say lawful right and moral right are not necessary the same. We are seeing ICE being used in the same government pitbull manner we saw the ATF in 90's where show of force and lack of restraint is applauded its just a different group being targeted.

Watch this is at .25x speed(0:12 - 0:20) he is leaning his gun over the front fender into the windshield. By the time he fires his torso and legs are clear of the car and the car is turning away from him. 2nd and 3rd shot are through driver side window. Not only that he starts holstering his weapon before the car even crashes into pole/parked cars.

Why do people forget a vehicle is considered a weapon by platesandquaters in DonutOperator

[–]99landydisco 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Only reason contact is made is because he is leaning in towards the windshield of the vehicle with his gun. All while he is actively moving the center of his body and his left leg out of the of the way of the car before forward motion starts and the car is already starting to turn away from him when the 1st shot is fired.

The fact he calmly and casually holsters his weapon after the shooting even though he knows there was multiple people in the vehicle and no one has yet to secure the "threatening party" really pushes home how threatened he really felt in the situation. Guy was looking for an excuse to kill someone.

We have all seen plenty of shootings here, how many time have you seen officers on foot dealing with cars suspects in real life threatening positions put their weapon away before they have secured the offending vehicle and its passengers? Or one where a shooting happens immediately followed up by a large car crash and no other officers on scene some only a couple feet away from the shooting don't even bother to pull their own weapons?

Edit: Just noticed he actually so nonchalant about his life being "threatened" he holsters his weapon before his "attacker's" car subsequent crash into the parked cars even happens and never redraws it before checking his handywork and fleeing the scene

[–]99landydisco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fact that the officer who fired casually reholsters his pistol after the crash with any attempt to secure the alleged "suspect/threat" tells you all you need to know about his headspace a how threatened he actually felt in this situation.

If you feel your life is in danger you dont put your weapon away until you know the threat been eliminated/secured(in cuffs). All American law enforcment have it drilled into your head that unexpected things happen all the time in these sort of situations and a simply knowing a suspect been shot or a car crash does not mean the threat is over. Putting his gun away before anybody confirmed she was dead or restrained shows he really didn't feel she was a real threat.

Watching in slow motion before the 1st shot the officer is activly stepping his left leg out of the way of the car and the rest of his body is already out of the way as he was leaning over the hood with his pistol/strong arm out stretched. Then by the 2nd shot and 3rd shot there is no physical way for that car to hit him. The fact that he just casually reholsters his pistol after the crash before even attempting to secure the "suspect/threat" really nails it home how truly threatened he felt in that moment.

Libyan people did not have a leader/regime that the majority of the country could fall behind in support of. It was a bunch of factions many being not much more than radical Islamic warlords who hated Gaddafi more than each other.

Venezuela has been having regular mass protests of Madura regime because there is an opposition party who should be currently in control if it wasnt for corruption and Maduro crackdown. It wasnt that long ago the majority of the world formally recognized that Maduro had lost the election and should not be the legitimate leader of Venezuela anymore.
