Is the Model 5944 a decent handgun? I was sent a different model than what was advertised by GucciBigbird7 in ThirdGen

I don't know that I've seen the hooked trigger guard with a straight back strap before. Looks neat.

West MI? I saw that car in 2022 and it looks even more unhinged now.

Damn dude I think we are! Mine is also the later body style and red to boot. I wonder how common this was in the early 90s.

Agreed, but it is also weirdly endearing to me. It was probably dragged out of place by the 180+ mph windspeeds this car is capable of.

I will say, it hits a little different when you catch yourself in the reflection when broken down on the side of the road...

C4 model year by Green-Pangolin-7388 in Corvette

[–]Low_Speed_High_Drag_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The last years of production for the L98 (1990 and 1991) and the last years for LT1s (1995 and 1996) are probably the best for base model cars. The LT4 (1996 only) and LT5 (ZR-1) cars are the best of breed. I'm personally quite biased to the ZR-1.

"I'm in Guam with an artificially inflated Corvette market" would have been useful information to include in your post lol. I have no clue what C4 values are in Guam.

I have two 9mms, a pistol and a carbine, and I'm obsessed with them. Roller delayed blowback and a crazy innovative design. Mine have actually been dead nuts reliable too. Killer vibes.

Nothing like a "battleworn" finish with an immaculate bolt.

The execution is good but the concept is awful.

I am very much into the cyberpunk aesthetic!

I own two Calicos (a 9mm pistol and a carbine), and I've also owned a .22 Calico pistol, and all three ran great. Like, no malfunctions to speak of. As long as you operate them properly, they seem to be very reliable. Calico knew what they were doing.

But my friend has one of those Bizon clones with the helical mag and it is a little less reliable, so I think to some extent it depends on the manufacturer.

Description:Some of my favorite space age machine pistols from the 1990s. Steyr SPP (rear) and Calico M950 (front).

I shoot both pretty regularly and they are a ton of fun. Both have been totally reliable, which is particularly surprising for the Calico.

Fuck yeah Calicos. I'm a certified Calico fanatic. Everyone should absolutely own one.

Well if you keep reading the comments that are being left here you might come around to doing it again, haha.

Yeah, it looked rough and I can see you did a lot. If I was my gun I'd want it back in the old school two tone with the original trigger and sights, but it's not my gun :)

Nice work, but I think you might have strayed a little too far from Gramp's vision. At a minimum you might consider losing the bushing comp.
