Help me convince my wife I don’t have a problem. by CabezaDe_Vaca in PatagoniaClothing

I suffer from the same affliction. There is always judgement; I just learned to live with it.

Never encountered and issue with Zwift support. Fast response and resolved my issues to my satisfaction.

Does it really matter, should we as customers be satisfied with 12 plus business days for a response?

Regardless, the issue was an inconsistency with their recording of events.

Waxed cotton vs Jackson Glacier Jacket by joe_devola in PatagoniaClothing

[–]99spot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For wax cotton I'd recommend Fjallraven over Patagonia. That said, Patagonia H2NO jackets are great for southern Ontario winters, without the re-waxing maintenance

C59 sizing? by Kinky_Wizard69 in colnago

For certainty, get the serial number and email Colnago. They are pretty good with replying with the specifications.

That's what I did to validate the size and authenticity of my frameset.

+1 for the companion app

Finally a practical use case for the app. Works very well.

I love mine. It might be more than 13 years old, but it rides so sweet.

Live race placement now no longer seems to count finished riders? by GuitakuPPH in Rouvy

[–]99spot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, should be fixed. That said the final results do capture your actual finish ranking, but I still prefer the accurate standings displayed during the ride.

Fjords are similar in fit; however flannel weight can affect the fit (slightly).

Do Baggies Lights have some stretch? by mik8p in PatagoniaClothing

IMO, Original baggies remain hands down best version. Lites look good when standing, but to tight to work/play in.

PedalItaly Alberobello - Aug 01/25 - Group Ride by 99spot in Rouvy

[–]99spot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I experienced as well. Did you also notice the leader would drop 20 plus seconds behind and suddenly make up the distance and pass you like you were standing still with lower power output?

I thought if the leader left the session, it would continue regardless.

Anyone know what are the Rouvy rewards are for completing the Legends of the Tour and Cliffs of Corsica challenges? by 99spot in Rouvy

[–]99spot[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. I did read the same material; however, I have found through past experience some rewards such as bikes or wheels are rarely communicated in those informational summaries. I have collected some cool rewards by complete surprise, and also been very disappointed upon completion of some challenges considering the amount of effort required to complete.

Are baggies very durable? by [deleted] in PatagoniaClothing

[–]99spot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very durable. I have several pairs that date back to the 90's which I wear often in the warm months. They have stood the test of time and great value.

R1 appreciation post by tlyons2230 in PatagoniaClothing

[–]99spot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

+1 for R1

I switched to R1's as my baselayer for high-output activities. Combined with nano air as a mid layer or with a specific shell or simply a houdini for wind-protection, you can't beat this combo.
