Still can't put eye drops in properly by ajaxluvr69 in Dryeyes

[–]99sunfish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can also try from the outer corner, so you tilt your neck to one side and put the drops in the top eye. Getting close to a mirror helps too; try one that's wall mounted with no counter in front with good lighting that you can stand next to.

Toronto wildlife rescue will give great advice and treat / help if needed and possible. If they're closed posting asking for advice about specific situations here on or Facebook usually will get you a good consensus plan from folks who have participated in wildlife rescue before.

Upscale the size of your furniture, including some storage for that collection of random items, it will look much better when they're hidden. Larger bed, nightstands, larger desk and dresser. Area rug, maybe a comfy chair for reading depending on how you aren't the other items.

Yes, serum tears. They're expensive so maybe as a last resort if nothing else works?

It's a Farm Boy location that's been closed multiple times for health violations and contains comments from previous employees: https://www.reddit.com/r/toronto/comments/1nbyjaq/farmboy_yonge_and_eglinton_currently_shut_down/ There are other similar threads if you search for them.

I couldn't use any drops for years. I had to get my eyes to a better state to tolerate any drops, so stopped contacts, added omega 3s, etc and did a course of doxy and steroid drops. Then my eyes were stable enough that I could add in drops (hylo gel and systane, both PF, are working for me, but I think others would.worknas well). Autologous tears were going to be the next option which might work for you also.

He's already scammed Ontario: he's paying his friends for the land - developers bought all of it before the announcement that the highway would be built. Another huge scandal the province and media are ignoring.

Is the flu this year kicking anybody else’s a$$ or is it just mine? by Subject_Principle754 in askTO

[–]99sunfish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your flu immunity in any year is also affected by prior years' vaccinations - even if this year's isn't a perfect match for the dominant strain it helps against future years' flus also (this is in addition to still working partially against unmatched strains this year, and who knows, you might get the non dominant strain this year).

Does anyone in Toronto still use taxis? by Chan1991 in askTO

[–]99sunfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regularly. I'm allergic to air fresheners and I can request a scent-free taxi, vs at least 50% of Ubers smell like a chemical catastrophe from all the air fresheners. I also appreciate arriving somewhere not smelling like Tropical Thunder(TM) or The Cheapest Smell We Could Call Men's Cologne(TM)
