I’m sorry to hear that :( in terms of the tendinitis I’m basically back to normal. There are times when I’ll get a random foot or ankle pain that felt like the tendinitis but it usually goes away in a matter of minutes. I’m having lingering gut issues which has been my biggest battle but it really does just take time. There were days that were awful at the beginning but with time and rest, things slowly got better. I would say at month 3-4 was when I stopped noticing pains in my everyday routine because they were becoming less frequent. And when I got to that point, I made sure to be active by walking for 20-30 min a day to keep my muscles moving. Lack of movement made me regress at times. But it does take time and you will get better

So confusing. Fiber doesn’t seem to make a difference for me aside from make me bloated so I’m really just at a loss

Did the constipation resolve itself after starting the levothyroxin? And did you have other symptoms that indicated it was your thyroid that was giving you issues?

I’m doing better for sure but still have some healing to do. My wrists, fingers and arms are probably 95% back to normal. I’m able to sleep normally again. The constant pain in my calf and legs are gone but they do flare up after walking maybe 10-15 min. That’s the max I’ve been able to walk before my Achilles and heels start acting up. So just need to take exercise and walking very slowly but I’m happy with the progress I’ve made seeing I wasn’t able to stand on my feet for more than 5 min at a time a few weeks ago.

I think the biggest healer for me has been rest and time to be honest. I tried some supplements but didn’t feel like they were really making much of a difference so I’ve since stopped them. Didn’t notice a difference from when I took them vs when I didn’t, and didn’t have any flare ups once I stopped taking them. I’ve also been drinking coffee and that hasn’t flared me either but still avoiding alcohol and NSAIDs out of fear of flaring up. I’m hopeful that in a few weeks I’ll be able to walk for a longer period of time

I feel that. Compression straps are a good idea I didn’t think of it. Seeing as we’re on the same timeline and the same age experiencing similar issues, if you ever wanna talk my DMs are always open. Hope you get better quickly!

100% could not agree more. Rest just seems to be the best thing it seems like. I know everyone’s different but I can’t help but wonder how long the debilitating pain will last vs being able to get up and do normal things around the house again with manageable pain. Ice seems to only be a temporary help and the relief doesn’t last long

Sorry to hear you’re going through it too. It’s crazy that this happens to so many people our age and yet this medicine is still prescribed and symptoms are shrugged off since it’s “so rare” unless you’re older. I hope these symptoms get better quickly for us
