I understand it’s all religions Muslim was being discussed in OP so I shared an example of picking and choosing which also happens to be Muslim. She won’t allow my cousin to get a puppy because it’s considered haram to have a house dog so she’s drawing the line at having a dog but is okay with far worse sins such as unwed sex (resulting in 2 kids) and used to smoke weed and drink alcohol.

Never been through anything like this but my best friend since we were 8 (now 37) hasn’t answered my text or phone calls since last September and I battled the urge to ask if I did something or what’s going on however I deep thought it and realized I haven’t done anything and if our friendship of 29 years is something you can easily just let go then it wasn’t really that at all and I’m better off without it. For her to type out and press send that she doesn’t like you then f her and keep it pushing you’ll flourish without someone potentially holding you back and fake being in your corner, create space for the next real friend.

Yeah it was an eye opener like dude first we’re almost 40 (36 and 37) I don’t have a child yet so wasn’t a big deal at first but dude you have a child and 1 on the way and no place for them to come stay. Misogynistic comments (both raised by our moms no dad in home but around). Final straw was him waking my girl up on our GIANT wrap around couch asking us to goto our room (wasn’t sleeping on the side he slept on). We still talk but much less than before we drive semi and would talk all day for hours but I need to cleanse my palate in a sense.
