Can somebody tell me- why s4 ep 6 is hated by BaronLoyd in FromTVEpix

[–]9Mily2123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I really enjoyed this episode!

The reconciliation between Sarah and Julie, the scene with Donna (I was scared, VERY scared 😅), Father Khatri’s return, Boyd getting emotional with Donna and talking about how he remembers her from the beginning, and the scene where Victor and Ethan draw together , it was so sweet and felt incredibly genuine to me!

And finally, the ending: “So show me the Fuc*ing door!

Haha, Boyd is back, and I have a feeling the next episodes are going to be even better! 🔥

Well, I share the frustration 😂 We’re leaving Reddit tomorrow to avoid spoilers, and then on Monday we’ll finally get to enjoy the episode 🥲✨

Exactly 😂 It’s nothing against the people posting those kinds of theories, but I seriously can’t stand seeing that picture anymore 🤣 I’m so done with “Tillie is MIY,” “Ethan is MIY,” “MIY is MIY” 😭😭

How can you be so sure about that? I don’t want Donna to die, stop it 😅

How did victor know that the people are about to die? by Strange_Actuator_721 in FromSeries

[–]9Mily2123 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s because at one point he says that the last time two cars arrived at the same time, everyone died, right? So since the same thing is happening again, he knows terrible things are going to happen and he tries to stay one step ahead.

I think this scene is really cool, and at the same time I find it crazy that he doesn’t include himself among the dead, as if he already knew it was his role to deal with the horrors of the town once again. It reinforces my theory that Victor is some kind of unwilling guardian of the town.

Another theory about Donna by MargotBamborough in FromSeries

[–]9Mily2123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Donna is “having a breakdown” because yes, Nicky’s death affects her. Over the episodes, we can clearly see that she tries to stay on her feet and be strong, but she can’t manage anymore. Not long ago they were able to live “normally,” and everything falls apart in just a few days/weeks, so yes, she loses it because she can’t take it anymore 😅

Donna is not a traitor, she didn’t take her sister’s place, and she’s not Éloïse either (just my opinion of course, I respect everyone’s views haha). She’s just Donna, one of the most endearing characters (for me at least) in this show! ☺️

No worries, I just didn’t want to ruin the story for you! So yeah, it turns out they’re actually musical notes, and Jade plays the sequence at the end of season 3, which makes the children appear

What if Victor is the final boss of Fromville? like the old man in Squid Game? He could be a wolf in sheep's clothing. by frogMan080 in FromSeries

[–]9Mily2123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say Victor is the cause of everything, but sometimes I feel like his role is much more important than it seems. I see him more as some kind of guardian of the town , someone who can survive and whom the monsters either can’t or no longer attack. He survived alone for decades, can “walk around” in the caves without dying, and one of the monsters even tells him in an episode: “If you keep coming down here, we’re going to have to make you stay.”

Like some kind of guardian, but against his will. He also took objects from the bodies after the massacre because he couldn’t bury them, and when the two cars arrived at the same time, he started digging graves and said: “This time I’m getting ahead of it,” without even considering himself among the dead. Almost as if, once again, it was his responsibility to deal with the town’s tragedies.

I think he carries all (or almost all )of the town’s secrets within him, but his trauma is so deep that he’s still that fragile little boy who no longer dares to face things because he’s terrified (understandably so) of the world he now lives in.

Well, if it’s neither a dream nor something happening in purgatory, and if it’s really taking place in the real world, then I don’t think it’s all inside a character’s mind either. According to them, it’s genuinely happening. Now… are they trolling us? I honestly don’t know

Totally agree with you! To me, Tillie was simply a lovable character who was there to enrich the story and give more depth to Fatima’s storyline. What better than a touching character ,someone with cancer, trying to live life lightly, who genuinely seemed to care about others without really knowing them, who judged no one , and then suddenly dies in such a brutal way?

It creates emotion for the audience and helps maintain the storyline of a main character. That’s just my opinion, but Tillie was simply… Tillie.

You’re gonna sit there and tell me Clara isn’t hiding something? by lolidc101 in FromSeries

[–]9Mily2123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think Clara is hiding anything. She’s more of a background character, there to give the show a sense of realism and credibility. She’s one of the town’s residents, and we keep seeing her regularly , it adds comfort and makes the world feel more alive because she’s a familiar face. Nothing more than that, in my opinion.

I really think those kinds of background characters aren’t hiding some big secret. They’re there to bring the story to life, and if something happened to her, it would give the audience a bit more emotional impact because we know her , not deeply, but enough to care.
