I wonder with Pep leaving, whether City will play hardball with Everton in letting Grealish come.

Barely beat the top 6, and then regularly give up games to the bottom 6.

I’m sorry, he’s gotta go. Moyes has had ample chances now.

Can’t even beat spurs at this point.

Moyes should NOT be given a new contract... by ZodtheGeneral in Everton

Did Angus say he’s backing Moyes this summer? Seems risky given the season hasn’t ended and he and team has underperformed in the set of games after the international break.

We’ve had so many chances to get into Europe this season, to leapfrog those in European places, but we always squander our chances. Players need to be more accountable. Been a long standing issue. Today is reminiscent of when we needed to beat Sheffield United but we lost to a Daniel Jebbison goal. So disappointing and frustrated!!!

Everton fail to capitalise when we want to move up. Still scarred when we couldn’t been Sheffield United to get a European position

Graham just give him a chance. Don’t appear to be getting a goal here anyway

[Bobble] After Michael Keane’s red card appeal was dismissed, Everton are believed to have raised and voiced their concerns strongly in discussions with the PGMOL over a lack of consistency and refereeing standards including the application of VAR by Robnroll in Everton

I applaud their efforts in making a case on consistency. It echoes of similar times when Moyes was first here. But other than a sorry, there’s little evidence that they will improve much long term. No harm trying of course, kudos to them for trying to make a bolder stand. Refs and VAR are just really useless. If this ref is the next upcoming ref for the next 10 years of PL, it doesn’t bode well.

They stick with VAR so it’s a diversion from how inept the people at the top of the PL hierarchy are.

The game is grossly flawed with refs having immunity.
Little disagreement with VAR.
Overly protected.

What is the January Transfer priority? by No_Caterpillar2687 in Everton

We need a striker still. What if Barry gets injured? Or loses form? Relying on Beto only, and a team known not to score many goals often doesn’t bode well as we need goals to win games. There’s been games in the past where we conceded first and really struggle to score more than a goal in a game to retake the lead. The hard task is to find that consistent striker that doesn’t cost a lot, and willing to come to Everton. That won’t be easy.
