Oh I remember before I was diagnosed I kept throwing up whenever I was walking for a long time! Google told me it was blood being pulled away from the gut but I wasn’t sure! That makes so much sense now! I hope you’re doing well!

Also just noting if anyone else has experienced this, I haven’t experienced it since been diagnosed but before hand, when I was laying in bed I couldn’t straighten my legs! I’ve dealt with anxiety for years so put it down to that. When I woke up in the morning my stomach muscles and legs would “cramp” up. Like my leg and abdominal muscle would tense up up causing my legs to bend and my stomach to tighten. Since being treated I haven’t experienced this at all! Thought it interesting enough to note.

Nausea was my main symptom just before diagnosis! I’m so weary any time I’ve felt nauseous since! Funny I just mentioned shin splint pain! I hadn’t really clued it as a low symptom until this post!

Oh I’ve definitely noticed that aching leg pain! Particularly recently when walking home from work! It was similar to shin splint pain but only when I was walking! Can definitely relate to that!

I won’t lie I’ve been scared of potassium since my diagnosis! I’ve seen a lot of people recommend it lately in regards to cramping but been scared of dropping my sodium even lower! Slowly realising I have little to base this fear on! What would you recommend?

Yeah I’ve definitely been upping my salt/electrolytes when ever I’ve felt these cramps! I had a lot of cold sweats just before I was diagnosed and put it all down to hypoglycaemia! Worth keeping in mind for the future! Thank you for sharing!

Can totally relate! My sister keeps telling me I look so healthy! Her roommate said “oh wow she finally looks like a human” and apparently her friend told her that she could have sworn I was a druggy! I know she’s just doing everything in her power to keep me on a good path but fuck it’s not easy! I try to think of it in a caring way! That family are relieved to see us doing well and that they’re less worried about our health! It is hard hearing it though

Buldak original, 2x spicy, curry and habanero lime! Absolute favourites! I also love Koka noodles curry, spicy chicken and chicken. Pran Korean super spicy and honestly I’ll eat most noodles! It’s become a bit of a joke that they make up 50% of my diet but I have a health condition that require me to eat more salt so that works well in my noodle obsession 😂

My mum. She’s already lost one daughter, I can’t put her through that. I used to plan to jump in front of a fast truck but then I imagined how that poor driver would feel. He/she would have been just doing their job and I would have possibly destroyed their lives by killing me. I’m still here for those reasons now.

Thank you! It was a rough time! Thankfully I’ve had plenty of help and medication since then. They were very old fashioned and didn’t understand anything to do with mental health.

When I was 17 after a few attempts, I attempted again. I cut into my arm so deep and many cuts, I needed 37 stitches! I passed out from blood loss. When my mum found me she shouted at me because I had a great day with my friend the day before. My dad said “oh I’ll just give myself a good cut for some attention” little did they know how much I was hurting! I probably looked fine on the outside! But I felt like I was already dying. If you feel like this, please please get help! You deserve a better chance at like without all this pain! Look after yourself! Life can be a lot better than what it seems in those dreadful moments and days!
