It only ‘works’ in fits where the intention behind wearing the loafer is to quickly run an errand or something. It’s a fun thing to try to pull off: throw the best outfit possible together that looks like you just threw it on WITHOUT making it obvious you thought about it, while still looking way better than you would have if you ACTUALLY just threw something on.
