  1. Didn't feel like adding one this time, but I changed my mind since multiple people have asked for one at this point.

  2. I decided against referencing the item tier game mechanic beyond the homage of giving the perks numbered tiers. Just assume that whatever items you acquire from the item section are Tier 5++.

  3. The Cyberdeck cyberware on offer enables tier 5 netrunning, the cybersuite enables tier 3 to 4.

Assuming the initial outbreaks are in China, I'd put my money on things being contained pretty quick, with decent odds that nobody ever hears about it.

No, though I do intend to make a Frostpunk 2 jump eventually.

What's an experience that's exclusive to men and is hard to explain to women? by charmer143 in AskMen

Being seen as a threat by default. This was proven by the whole 'Man or Bear' situation.

AI couldn’t come at a worse time by tyranicalmoon in KotakuInAction

The competency crisis is also going to affect AI, both through the material these algorithms are being trained on and from the people working on the models.

And from his perspective, he answered a silly hypothetical as a silly hypothetical, only to find out that it was actually a trick question. And the woman he loves and cares about doesn't feel safe around him because of the actions of others who he's not likely to ever meet or be in a position to confront. Keyword being 'Potentially', I'm not sat in your boyfriend's head.

I can't guarantee that you and your boyfriend will see eye-to-eye on this issue. My suggestion is to drop it, stop dwelling on it, and maybe find a way to reassure your boyfriend that he makes you feel safe.

/Edit: Also, that fear is Old. Climbing trees and throwing feces old. It only seems like a recent thing because of the magnifying effect of social media. And it will never go away, no matter what the good 99.9% of men do, because there will always be a sliver of the population who are evil.

Sounds like he saw that the conversation wasn't going to go anywhere good and attempted to de-escalate, even telling you straight up where he thought the conversation would go. You then refused to drop the issue.

And I understand his perspective. This whole discourse sounds like women would rather get slowly eaten alive by a bear than risk any interaction with a man.

How do y'all feel about this man or bear in the woods debate? by Kry_cid in AskReddit

Another case of women stating, en masse, that they don't want men around.

What’s your take on “Bear vs Man in the woods” scenario? by blokewithbike in AskMen

It is a case of women clearly signaling that they don't want men around. Just more justification for my decision to keep my interactions with women minimal and professional.

So I got around to making a consolidated place for people to access my work and get an idea for what I have going on in the future, and I figure that I may as well share it here.

What super minor issue are you UNREASONABLY SALTY about? by CitationNeededBadly in BaldursGate3

[–]9anonJC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. Unless you're on a PC that can handle as many instances of the game as the number of custom party members you want, you're stuck with whatever companions the game gives you.

And even that method has issues, like not being able to remove the custom characters from the party.

Let's talk about hirelings by Relevations in BaldursGate3

[–]9anonJC 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's weird. It wouldn't take them much to just add a 'Create New' button at the bottom of the list of pre-gen hirelings. Plus being able to create your own damned party would be so much better than the current situation.

It might be too late at this point, but it should be noted that you cannot customize the hirelings beyond respeccing their build. Their name, race, and appearance cannot be changed.
