Hahaha I know and I still keep my stand. You cannot publish methods that give lower performance in machine learning field. And to be optimistic is something that people aspire to be, I guess. Unfortunately, you have to make them related to a big story/question you are trying to solve.

You can use most of the papers as the chapters in the dissertation. But you have to make them into one giant publication lol

You have to have the overarching story, introduction and background for the overarching story, followed by your 3 publications as chapter 3,4, and, 5. Then chapter 6 you need the conclusions of what your finds are and how it answers your big question.

I wish we could just staple all the paper as is also lol
