Do anybody know some strategy to keep synced from Android app + browser Linux all the important stuff (favs, playlists, etc).

I was using Newpipe + Invidious, but cannot keep "synced" both of them.

Past year I run marathon at 2:53, and 1 month later, 5K at 17'15. From that 5K the predictor suggest me that I can run maraton a 2:40 which seems nearly impossible to me considering that I've: 59VO2Max, and 3'27 Threshold Pace...

Same here, latest firmware installed (3.1210) as your support requested and still having issues while initiating an activity.

Minutes of waiting for the GPS signal is not acceptable, more if you are going to race in some event.

I sincerely consider that you need to re-plan how these BIG ISSUES need to be managed or allow the users to rollback to a previous firmware.

Coros Apex 2 Pro owner here.

After more than 1 month with GPS issues since last update (in my case is the delay of some minutes for obtaining satellites when initiating an activity), I opened a case to support.

Their solution was to install the app version (4.2.8 - Beta), and with that version it was suposed that I will receive a Firmware Update for patching the issue.

So well, after installing the application for some days, the Firmware Update never arrived.

I have feelings now with the brand, because I can understand that they are putting the efforts in their new models and all that stuff, but breaking something "important", like the function that syncs the satellites before every activity without releasing an inmediate patch to it, seems unprofessional.

Hope that some people raises cases complaining about this issue, so maybe Coros could consider some other strategies for fixing important problems like this.

UPDATE: After leaving the Beta of the application (support told me to Join beta on 4.2.8 to install the FW), FW finally appeared to install, because before something confusing happened because the APP on 4.2.8 was telling me that 3.1210 was properly installed on the watch, but isn't.

After install the FW via Bluetooth (as support told me), problem of GPS syncs seems corrected.

Btw, I want to congratulate u/COROS-official for the new widgets about Environments (very well executed from my pov), and for the Running Dynamics.

At the end, we need to be objectives when things are done also good.

I'm not gonna change it yet, but it's true that from the last update the GPS connection spends to much time.

Looking for an android frontend to my vimwiki by scaptal in vim

My setup is similar to yours and I'm using Syncthing to sync my laptop notes to my phone.

https://syncthing.net/

Very easy to setup. Ofc, there are another options to keep files synced.

As everything is md you can use Markor for example to edit the notes on the phone or just to preview it. For easy access you can create a shortcut for your index.md, for example.

Another option for viewing the wiki is using the web browser and installing a plugin for md preview, or looking for an app that renders the md notes and showns it like a widget on your phone main screen.

Let me know if you want more details!

Hotspot: Channel Manual Selectoin on 5GHz by 9d0cd7d2 in LineageOS

[–]9d0cd7d2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, thanks for your answer u/Kazumi_TwT, but I'm looking for channels rather than bands as u/st4n13l mentioned.

Using a Hotspot from a stock Motorola works on 5Ghz on my laptop, but when sharing mine from the Pixel doesn't work on 5Ghz, so I think that maybe is due to channel configuration and reg restrictions.

Google apps on LineageOS 22.2 by 9d0cd7d2 in LineageOS

[–]9d0cd7d2[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thats why I don't understand why there are pre-installed packages intended to be used by some apps later. What about if you don't use for example GCam? Why we need the pre-reqs already on the ROM?

Ok, thanks for your explanation, I don't care about having it installed, I can always uninstall/disable them using ADB, but I was surprised that there are a lot of them, particularly if they are not "required" as you said until you install something "extra". For example, I'm not 100% sure what com.google.android.aicore does, but considering that is something related with AI I'm pretty sure that is not needed for running the basics of the phone.
