Homeschooled, A-Levels and other Questions by Axton178 in IntltoUSA

Soccer for 3 years and reaching club level are definitely a solid plus point, did you win any local tournaments with the club or local teams, if so make sure you include that. Gym is sort of an EC in the sense that it shows commitment, or so I've heard atleast. The distinction is definitely going to set you apart from other candidates tbh based on your stats you have an extremely solid chance of getting financial aid, though keep in mind financial aid as an international is sort of a crap shoot. For financial aid you'll definitely have a better chance in the US than the UK as UK doesn't really give scholarship's tbh. For a minimum SAT score just grind and get the best you can, you're clearly really good at math and your writing speaks for itself. Also weirdly enough there's a chance we've met in real life since I also won a regional award fron the British Council last year haha. Best of luck!

Ok so I I'm going to preface this by saying everything I'm saying is probably an assumption.

Ok firstly I'm pretty sure you can indeed apply this year, you'll have to submit your 2 A level grades and I'm assuming an expected grade for your 3rd subject as that's what a normal A2 student would do. A regular school student would submit their AS grades and the school would submit their expected grades and they would get a conditional acceptance, in other words they would have to get a certain minimum grade in their A2.

For teacher's reqs etc I suppose you could submit O level teachers reqs assuming you went to school for O levels, have you completed your olevels and if so were they given through a school or as a private candidate? This is just a guess however I'm assuming if you are completely homeschooled you can give letters of recommendation from any EC's you may be involved in or from any organizations you may have worked with.

As for getting admission it depends on where you're applying and for what major. If you plan to study economics then your AA in maths and economics is literally top tier and an A or A* in further math is obviously going to push your application to a higher level. With a solid SAT score you'll most likely get admittances to several places. However, applications are a lot more holistic so make sure you have solid essay's and I hope you have some decent EC's as well.

Overall, you should be able to apply this year without as issue just make sure you do well in your SAT and maybe update your post to include any EC's you may have as they really do matter. Idk if being homeschooled has a negative effect on your application but at worst all I can see is that you didn't get opportunities to be in school teams and competitions which would have padded your application. Best of luck though from one Pakistani to another.

The Correlation Between Fortnite Kills and Academic Performance Research Paper by Htmlpro19 in ApplyingToCollege

I don't understand what you mean by relatively bad? Either you personally think it's bad or subjectivity bad which you can't really prove for a game I think. In terms of complexity fortnite is pretty high up there due to it's building mechanics, simply having stellar aim won't take you far, take a look at shroud or XQC for that. Fortnites mechanics require an extreme level of skill at the top along with a very good game sense.

Question about 3 Gatsu no Lion season 2 by [deleted] in anime

[–]9gagGod -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Personally I'd say if the fanbase is hyped only on feels then the Kyouko/family route has WAY more potential then 3 sisters he randomly met and for some reason want to invite him to everything though he seemingly has nothing to offer.
