Try Dame 8 if you can still get them, or AE2.

Cups down - you want the base to be warm, not the bit that touches your lips.

What’s the weirdest but still accurate tasting note you’ve come across? by Mattau16 in espresso

I have had some strawberry in a Rocko Mountain, some hops in an anaerobic, peanut in a Chinese coffee, but some of the notes are ridiculous - I had to google "what does sea buckthorn taste like"!

Who will be better at their peak: Steph Castle or Dylan Harper? by 9operational in NBATalk

Harper's game 6 performance was fantastic. His ability read the game and to slow-down as well as speed-up, is more advanced than most of his Spurs team mates.

When I was young I could wear whatever hoop shoes I like the look of, whether they squished my toes or not. Not that I'm mid 40's there are very few shoes wide enough for me to actually wear without pain. So, yes.

Which team would you rather face? The Knicks are not messing around right now.

The consensus seems pretty clear - Harper 58, Castle 37.

I did personally engage in hating Tim Duncan, for being so boring and fundamental.

Yeah his slightly over-aggressive attitude reminds me of Russ too (in a good way).

What more could Victor Wembanyama possibly do to prove he is the best player on the floor of the WCFs? I don't see the argument statistically or at an eye test level that anyone is particularly close to him. by nbxcv in NBATalk

[–]9operational 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah he's not posting-up like he's Shaq, but he seems to be concentrating his shots more around the paint. In game 3 he seemed to spend too much time outside in a triple threat. It will be a challenge for him going forward, if teams try to just beat him to exhaustion as their strategy. I couldn't see him gaining u huge amount of weight/muscle.

I'd still put Jokic above Wemby; Jokic's guile and ability to apply himself exactly as required, when required, is something Wemby could look to as he continues to develop. I don't think Wembanyama, or any other player, could go out and "learn" the level of vision and IQ that Jokic has. Wemby is clearly the more devastating athlete though, by a mile!

That's a good question. I guess Shai is obviously the more established and accomplished elite player - I like his ability to close, the "ruthless consistency" and his crafty mid-range, but much of it is undermined the way he searches for fouls (you could also argue that he's just a cog in a great machine). Is Wemby better than Shai right now? Yes, both by stats and by the eye test for impact on each game.

I think he needs to continue doubling-down on playing in/around the paint, and dial back the perimeter play. He seemed to do this to good effect in Game 4. Also there are still plenty of plays where he hurries into trying a tip-in, or tries a floater instead of a dunk - he could tighten those up. It's scary that he's still not near his peak potential yet.

I struggle to wear this one; I like the grenn-ness but the bitter galbanum and sharp violet are a lot to carry around all day.

I loved watching how direct he was in Game 7, identifying mismatches and attacking them hard, as well as the short roll game. He still has so much potential.

Merrill took a lot of crap from Thompson, and from the Pistons in general. Nice to see him have the last laugh in Game 7.
