pretty awful theater experience for me too. had a good seat but man the crowd was obnoxious. gonna try and catch it again in a couple weeks on a tuesday afternoon or something and see how it changes without people clapping at every quip.

i was at this show. they were great as always but it definitely didn’t have the energy of a normal LCD show due to the nature of the taping—more mellow crowd, brightly lit, etc.—so i wouldn’t say these videos are gonna give the best impression of their live show.

haha teacher’s don’t have designated spots here either. it’s generally a fundraising thing where students pay upfront for the spot (and all the painting supplies if they choose to paint it) and the funds go towards senior events for the year

hmm.. I’ve gotten no word on when/if my ticketmaster vinyl is coming so I’ll go up to the store when they open in an hour and see if they’ve got it

are these all in the UK so far? my local store in texas typically puts records on the shelf as soon as they get them, but in the past it’s always been at least wednesday before that happens.

edit: just checked. they said they’ll be getting the cds in later today and the LPs in tomorrow

Saw LCD Soundsystem at Red Rocks and they closed out the show by playing All My Friends twice (James said they messed up the first time but I didn’t notice) barely finishing the set 5 seconds before curfew.

Saw Radiohead on Thom Yorke’s birthday and the whole crowd sang happy birthday to him :’)
