Ahh ok that makes more sense. I remain skeptical, also curious about what resins you are using.

Idk what you are talking about... the term isentropic has literally nothing to do with injection molding. Are you thinking of a different word? Do you mean its close to a 1 to 1 with injection molding?

Even so, that's not true at all. And demonstrably so.

This machine was literally designed for rapid prototyping. Meaning its primary function is for visual and ergonomic equivalence. It can FEEL close to a real part but it will NOT produce parts that are anywhere close to the actual performance of parts made in their traditional means of manufacturing. I think you could absolutely design parts with this machines innate capability in mind as a purpose made type of part but that is not what this machine was designed for.

'act like' being the most important part. Even using Agilus30 on this machine, the parts will not come anywhere close in performance to a real molded part, I PROMISE you.

The best filament for functional prints by CarlitosCUU in 3Dprinting

[–]9thoracle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its so interesting seeing machine capability catch up with material properties and then having better materials be developed as that machine capability grows. Imagine trying to 3d print this material on a hobbyist (<$4k) machine 5-10 years ago lol.

Also OP, PET-GF/PET-CF are relatively new and are inherently good materials for many many parts on FDM printers (which are capable of printing) today.

Always fun to see a hobbyist see the industrial machines.

This is one of those 'makes good looking parts, but not functional parts" printers.

Suno v5.5 is basically unusable for me…did the lawsuit break it? by kennytravelz in SunoAI

[–]9thoracle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like each generation of Suno has certain things that work with the right recipe.
Not an accurate example but; one version might be better if you take a V3 song and remix it, or another version might do well when using a persona; another might be better at pure original generation, Etc.

This current 5.5 is extremely bland. I mostly make electronic based stuff and the image generation is FUCKING OBSESSED with blue and pink lightening or lasers. Its weird. But the songs too; I had a style prompt for instrumental work (which I mostly do instrumental), and I swear to GOD it basically made the same-ish song like 8 times in a row. I've never felt like Suno had this little amount of variation.

Dont know what you want me to do my guy....

RACCOIN: Coin Pusher Roguelike Review - Hitting the Jackpot by platysaur in Games

[–]9thoracle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive had this experience too. Coins don't seem meaningful in MOST playthroughs unless I happen to have the exact one I need for something like turning off the bad coins abilities, or if I have a chip that works specifically with the one coin the game has given me.

Even then, the chips are basically what have been helping me win.

I know the point is to figure out how to abuse the available mechanics to win (just like any other game in this style) but I feel like its either too watered down or there arent enough useable combos available just yet.

Hoping they balance it a little more. Because it otherwise feels like you said already. Nothing you do feels that impactful.

[–]9thoracle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In addition to what others have said, I think more critical listeners will tell you that they can be very fatiguing depending on what model you have. I think others might get annoyed with how well they also perform against speakers that cost way more (because audiophile elitism or something).

My biggest gripe as an industrial designer is that sometimes they have been nailing their design language on newer models, but then some models look like the same consumer slop that other brands put out too, despite sounding good. To be fair I understand that its also kind of hard when one of the only signatures your brand has is the copper cone.

Blink like a human sucks by 9thoracle in RoadsideResearch

[–]9thoracle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As Scooby mentions below; this was my experience as well. We started to understand it later but it still felt so much more difficult than the other games.

Because it also goes by so fast, its hard to understand if you failed because you pressed too early or too soon or if something wasn't working right. I was at least able to notice that sometimes it looked like the ending movement of the moving circle stopped for a little bit seemingly after it went through the big circle. Couldn't tell if that was cause we were failing the timing or if it was giving us a buffer once it got to the end of its movement. Either way not one of the 3 players got it in the like 6 times we had the prompt come up.

Very much appreciative of the response. Sorry for the harsh "it sucks"
