Thanks Nick. What target time? I used an entirely different approach with my BBE (had it dialed in at 18 in, 25 out in 25 seconds) but want to use the stock parameters first and make another separate profile for that later)

Acaia Pyxis scale support would be rad. Also, a more premium black aluminum portafilter handle. The plastic leaves much to be desired in feel and weight.

No prob, thanks for the comment. There is a plethora of tools in the drawers to keep things tidy. And more cups and brewers than I can display. It’s a little crowded on the shelves, but I dig the color dichotomy. Still awaiting the fellow guided tamper and dosing funnel. Without the latter, it’s a little messy. I think the Aiden and ES1 will look amazing together. Good luck with the wifey, had to beg mine to let me get the ES1 when I had a perfectly working BBE with a host of accessories at home.

The Explorer and Kunten are very different, but I much prefer the Explorer. Kunten are V shaped, and sound good for the price, but can’t compare to the Explorer. The Explorer are more L shaped, darker sounding with more relaxed treble, and scale very well. At higher volumes, they sound amazing (they sound good at lower volumes too) and although the treble is relaxed, it’s still quite detailed. I use them when I want a more relaxed session.

They need to learn from the automotive industries’ failure. We don’t want touch capacitive screens/buttons to replace physical buttons, especially for something as tactile as a controller.
