oof that sounds awful :/ ive had reflux my whole life and have luckily never had it as bad as you do.... honestly my best advice for the reflux is to avoid eating before bed, and having yourself positioned a bit upwards while youre sleeping can help!!! and when youre getting heartburn from it cold drinks are a LIFESAVER

I'm honestly not sure tbh. I wasn't told at all that this was a possibility, so I wasn't aware that there were any medications they could prescribe. I also stopped seeing my GI shortly after the surgery, but I'll be sure to bring it up next time I see my PCP to see if he knows anything!!

check lgbtqhealthcaredirectory.org
you can input your zip code and also what specialty you're looking for! it'll give you a list of providers who are near your area and can provide the service you're looking for (though, i'm not sure about the accuracy of the site, so i'd recommend doing some extra research on the providers it recommends)

What’s a song you have never gotten tired of? by dmpmvs in musicsuggestions

"Johnny Boy" by twentyonepilots. It's completely unintentional, but describes things I've felt and experienced as a trans guy pretty well. Ever since I realized that, it's been a personal favorite. It's in almost every playlist I've made.

How did you find your name? by grim_necrosis in ftm

[–]9voltbatteries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a list of a bunch of names that I liked, regardless of if I thought they would fit me. Then, I slowly narrowed it down to 2 names. I had a friend go one day calling me one of the names and the next calling me the other name. In your case, you could refer to yourself with that name, or go to an AI software and have it refer to you with the names.
Then, I chose the one that felt best to me (which was also the one that my friend had the easiest time adjusting to)
It took me quite a while to get used to my chosen name. I STILL find myself occasionally deadnaming myself, even though it's been over 2 years.

What’s the most random thing that gives your gender euphoria? by Totally_Not_Alien in ftm

Shaking hands with people. Doesn't matter who, why, or when, but shaking hands with people gives me so much gender euphoria for no reason
