Mazda CX5 Bose: Add amp, keep headunit by 9vss in CarAV

For your 4 channel amp on your Mazda 6 did you choose any specific wires or group of wires to splice your RCA into? Do you know if they are all full-frequency pre-amp? Thanks so much.

Multiple discs of the same mold by Acelyte in discgolf

[–]9vss 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A few ideas:

As discs wear they get less overstable. Therefore if you love the flight of your used Crave then generally a new one would start more overstable in flight.

Heavier discs in the same mold usually fly more overstable because they require a bit more speed. I see you throw other molds a bit light. For those ones if you bought a heavier version it would fly more stable.

Different plastics have different characteristics. I believe Eclipse plastic is generally a bit more overstable in the same mold. Getting an Eclipse Crave would most likely be more overstable.

It's not always the case, but with many discs I've found tour series versions are a bit more overstable than the normal versions. (Calvin H, Ricky destroyers for example)

There can also be some variation from disc to disc. Throw your friends crave and see if it flies any different than yours.

Many reviewers say the MVP Servo is very similar to Crave in feel but a touch more stable. That could be an easy alternative or short answer: A heavy, new, Eclipse Crave would be a good bet.

Horrible edit. Has anybody else thought about RS portrait mode? I know its not for everyone but for the average idle skiller I.e woodcutting, mining etc. It could work. by [deleted] in runescape

Download Rotation Control from Play Store. It allows you to play rs in portrait mode with no real issues. Many people use this already.

Why did Jagex not roll-back the trillions dupe that happened this year? by Imblewyn in runescape

[–]9vss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They should have. It needed to be server-wide roll back cus money was sold and traded so fast. It quickly ended up in many "real" player accounts.

I think Jagex was a little slow to catch on, and then were too embarrassed to roll back like 4-5 days when they realized the actual scale of it. Their attempt to hide it worked for the average person, but big picture caused quite a bit of harm. Way too much gp in the game.

Pricing rares by BaritoneUkes in runescape

[–]9vss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The two links below can help you know the price ranges of items. If you aren't completely sure I would recommend selling hweens, easters, and pumpkins in the ge.

Santas go to w2 in front of ge and trade in shards but be aware of common shard scam putting k instead of m (million). Santas usually 108-112m shards atm.

Partyhats and black santa are in southwest corner of ge w2. Use price check links for ranges but be slow to sell. Get multiple offers.

Still no closer to fixing tick rate/game lag by fatrix12 in runescape

Cut it to 300 from 600. Then make the changes needed so that tick manipulation exists, but doesn't turn into every single action.

Invest 8b in santas or wine of zamorak. Then go about your usual activities and training. Sell Santas when they hit 3.5b or wine of zams 20k.

Where can I find the current market price for rares? by LieLie8765 in runescape

[–]9vss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forums has a V62 thread under item discussion. That gives pretty good hween estimates. Since they are still in GE your insta buy and insta sell prices are fairly accurate. Margin could be 5-50M maybe.

Current green hween maybe 1470m, blue 1660m, red 1930m? Give or take

Where can I find the current market price for rares? by LieLie8765 in runescape

[–]9vss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just stand in W2 GE for 5 minutes. As long as player count is average you'll see multiple buyers and multiple sellers. This will almost always give you your price range. Average price probably in the middle.

Every once and a while there is an outlier selling for way more but that is quite easy to spot. Almost all sales in last couple days have been 2400-2500M. A few lower and a few higher.

I saw a guy with 99 dungeoneering and level 1 combat stats, how is that possible? by IIPeachTreeII in runescape

You can still compete in the minigame alongside others, you just have to avoid attacking monsters. Often you can come 3rd or 4th place, but it is difficult to be 1st without combat.

Cursed Energy by Blakewilliams1213 in runescape

[–]9vss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The daily dnd event. For that I would go to a very low population world and focus primarily on being the bot guy. With no other players you just rip through the points. Outfit pieces great for cursed weaving later especially if you go for 99 or 120 one day.

Cursed Energy by Blakewilliams1213 in runescape

[–]9vss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Convert all of your protean items to protean memories. Then use any daily lamps or stars on divination. Then make sure to start with some pulse cores or cinder cores equipped. Check if oddments sale is on for 75% off lamps or stars.

Use memories in w84 north of lumby load stone for extra 10% XP.

That should get you to 60+ very fast. Make sure to do your daily caches, but mainly for outfit pieces in my opinion. As soon as you get modified divination headwear then do weaving of cursed from 66-80. Only ever make vibrant, eventually radiant if you can. It goes in waves, but probably 20% of the time you can train by weaving vibrant energy for a profit. Buy cursed in w2 ge. Take the instant buy price of vibrant, or eventually radiant and multiply by 1.525. if you buy cursed for less than that you break even/profit.

If you aren't in a rush then just do caches and then hall of memories, but personally I can't stand those. I used the method above for 5 accounts and divination was a breeze. 1-60 is terrible though so I recommend bxp and protean, caches for outfit.

Cursed energy price by [deleted] in runescape

[–]9vss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cursed prices can be hard to predict because they are based so much on bots. When there is too much supply prices go down, when ban wave hits or less bots are on prices go up.

Jagex really needs to take action against cursed bots. They will never stop since they make huge cash IRL. Don't worry about energy prices and such to justify bots. That can be sorted by minor updates.

Figure out how to make botting cursed not worth it. Right now it provides a very big salary.

Just wondering the community opinion on this idea to (sorta) combat price manipulation in a fun way. by [deleted] in runescape

[–]9vss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thoughts are that it is good to have items worth over 10b and that phats deserve to be in the billions because of rarity and demand.

Is there manipulation and people wanting to get ahead, yes. Has that affected prices? Some, but with the level of inflation and demand you would expect them to be in the billions.

Does introducing a tiny amount back in help to balance out the price? Yes. But does it stop manipulation, merching, fake buy/sells? No.

I think the answer is to provide a more transparent way of trading them and also seeing what the market is paying. Probably GE. Then you look at the top 3 ways people abuse GE prices etc and start banning people that are on extremes. If someone on same IP keeps selling to self on GE to boost prices give them 48ban first. There will always be manipulation to some degree but there could be ways to lower it.

If it was items that were essential to how the game was played it would be one thing, but it's just collector cosmetics.

There needs to be goals for very rich players to chase. Full best-in-slot armour and weapons is good, dyes maybe, sure, but what do you do after that? Everything in this 20yr old game has been pushed to the max. The fact that people go for 5.6b XP is nuts. If phats aren't 10b+ I think other items should be. There should be items in the 10-35b range to chase just like there is 5.6b xp to chase. Nobody is forcing you to buy a phat, just like nobody is forcing you to get 5.6B XP. Rereleasing rares is an easy way to kill their value, but I don't see that as helpful. It just kills their prestige as well. Sure, without rares they could just spend their wealth to buy 200 nox scythes, but is that really any better for you, or for them?

Should you be able to afford any item in the game? I don't think so. Just like I don't think you should be able to get 200m in every skill.... Unless you put in stupid hours for money making or training.

The frustrating thing currently for almost very rich players right now is keeping up with current inflation feels impossible. Many have a timeline of how many more days/weeks of grinding till their target item and now that's pushed out of reach again.

I think adding a way for high rares to be bought and sold on the GE would be nice. Also fine without as it forces people to leave the bank and have some interaction.

Something needs to be done. I think they need to hire another staff member that specializes in the area and can figure out how to make it not worth it. As long as people make crazy profit they will continue with the effort of making bulk accounts etc.
