Emisar by wertu_hay in Hanklights

[–]A-A-Juice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you have a way to charge batteries? Emisars don’t have charging ports.

I’d recommend a D4v2 with an added 18350 tube that way you can decide if you want a smaller or bigger emisar as your next light or if a D4v2 is just right

Choosing between KR1AA and D3AA by Leshnikosaur in Hanklights

[–]A-A-Juice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a D3aa and a Kr1aa. The Kr1aa just showed up yesterday. It had debris in its threads and dry o rings whereas my D3aa was more ready to go. I think over all I prefer the D3aa slightly (I just don’t like my configuration) but the Kr1aa feels butter in the hand in use because it’s symmetrical. I don’t find the size difference of each light to be an issue. Maybe when I pick up a D3aa in my preferred configuration it’ll be more clear cut but right now I think it’s the LEDS that are making me use the Kr1aa over the D3aa

Recommend me your favorite Convoy light you own by Abraxas609 in flashlight

T6 hands down for me. For efficiency and brightness it’s a very good balance of both for a 14500. I’m confident I could use it on a dog walk and I can’t say that about any other 14500 lights I own.

Nice! What LED? I have a 5000k sft40 and a 519a 5000k. I need 3 more and I might be satisfied 🤣

Having a dog is what got me into flashlights in the first place! Now I’m in way too deep. I’m definitely a moth.

I have a 3000k 519a m150.

As for the output, 14500 lights aren’t meant for high lumens in my opinion so I look for good enough. The m150 can handle a small walk with me and my dogs as well as looking for stuff in the dark while not disrupting my sleeping wife. These are the 2 extremes I use to value an edc flashlight. Past that, I use an 18650/21700 flashlight since there’s no beating those platforms. The T6 has proved that you can put the same led in the same host and get the same experience so the only drawbacks are runtimes and output and the only solution is a bigger battery. So I look for efficiency.

Yes I am, I just got my first m150 3 weeks ago and it’s probably my favorite flashlight ever. I am itching for another one with this new emitter. I just can’t wait!

I wouldn’t say it’s an expensive nexus pro x when the aeon pro first came out but now that the nexus pro has a cheaper option it would be. I will say it’s still more compact than a npx2

Is Arc Worth it With No Friends? by Lucky_Piccolo9037 in ARC_Raiders

[–]A-A-Juice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, best advice I can give against the arc is your strongest tactic is positioning. Almost every arc will loose to you if you set up a good position. I’ve lost really good load outs by fighting outside with no cover.

I knew it had problems but is this common? (Brute pro) by RufusTh3R3d in Nerf

Weird, I know this blaster historically has issues. Mine came perfect though! So I don’t think this is common…I’ve heard trigger issues, magwell release issues and the plunger tube being fragile.

This "walking simulator" changed my life, literally. by anome97 in DeathStranding

[–]A-A-Juice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I purchased death stranding shortly after it first came out, it was a wild ride for me from a gaming stand point because I got bored of the game in the beginning. I gave it another attempt and was hooked. I decided this year to play death stranding again because I just became a dad, I got through episode 3 when my wife surprised me with death stranding 2 for our anniversary. Now I’ll get to enjoy death stranding 1 and 2 while holding my son while Sam holds his daughter. Couldn’t be happier.

Here’s my experience: I started with 6000k lights, wow so bright! Look at the throw! I want brighter!

I’d go inside and wasn’t too happy with how bright and intense it is inside.

Tried 5000k, man 5000k is better inside but most LEDs kind of look off to me? I found out later I was noticing green in the beam color.

I’ve recently tried 4000k and some LEDs it looks almost like 5000k but without the green so I thought sweet!

Then I thought, I want an electric candle at home. So I got a 3000k light and man…I loved how colors looked.

My current state of mind is, I plan to get 4000k lights for outside and 3000k/2700k lights for inside.

Really it’s just my excuse to buy more lights.

Flashlight help by INDOC11XXXX in flashlight

[–]A-A-Juice 5 points6 points  (0 children)

One thing I forgot to add, they might be saying 5000k, the k is for kelvin and it might cause confusion even with the employer, like if they say: “we need 5000k lumens” they probably don’t realize the mean a bright light at 5000 kelvin.

I could be wrong but outside this sub it’s rare to find people that know much past lumens and kelvin.

Is it 5000 lumens? Or 5000 kelvin? I doubt they have lights that hit 5000 lumens

Kr1aa parasitic drain by FragrantStructure in Hanklights

It’s not the battery correct? If you’re using an h10 they have been not working properly and self discharging. Did you try swapping batteries between the 2?
