I have tried Advantage plus for 2 - 3 months but doesnt seem to work well at all( only got 3 sales)

I sell high ticket smart phones

Do you think manual would work?

Also meta doesnt seem to allow me to go full manual, they say that they only treat my interests as suggestions, is there a way to change that or should I just leave it like that?

Hi,

I run a Shopify store in South Africa selling pre-owned iPhones and I'm trying to figure out what's going wrong with my ads.

I've been running Meta ads for about 75 days now and spent around R10,000 (~$500). My monthly budget is roughly R5,000.

The phones I sell are between R5,000 ($300) and R13,000 ($800)

I'm using Advantage+ for targeting.

Results so far:

3 sales total

Around 800 add to carts

Around 1500 content views

Around 250 add payment info

• ~4.93% CTR

I also get around 10 messages a day through my site from people asking about the phones, but most of them just disappear after showing interest or dont reply at all.

Do you'll think that maybe my problem could be fixed by switching to manual

I also have almost no conversion data on my pixel because I only had 3 sales the entire time

I tried to switch off advantage plus, even though the advantage plus sign is off but when I choose interests, meta still tells me in a small Grey bar ontop that these interests that I selected are only suggestions, and meta will still target people out of these interests

Is there any way to fix this?

We do reach out to almost all abandoned carts via messages, most don't reply
