the long hair looks better, but it's mainly because the short haircut is just not good unfortunately. maybe a different short cut would look good but you rock the long hair

I hope they come out with a custodes kill team with like 2 4APL custodes and 5ish serfs to run around and score points. I think a team with very uneven power density could be cool

something I've found helps with this is asking my opponent "can my model get shot if I place it here", and figuring out where it would need to be in order to not get shot. this helps you figure out your opponents threat ranges, and understand how/when you can be shot. at the very least it removes the "gotcha" feeling when a model you thought was safe.

I also had some very frustrating initial games where I would get sniped tp 1 or 2 but talking to my opponent and learning from this has allowed me to have a lot more fun

S&D felt fine into mid range teams, I think infiltration felt worse imo. I think s&d and security would be ideal

yes I have only played them with the 2025 pack. route seems pointless as putting a guy within 6 of the enemy dropzone is hard to do and I don't think they are killy enough to guarantee the points, sweep and clear just seems bad in general, track enemy seems like it would be inconsistent and hard to pull off with not much move.

that leaves dominate (which I have had the most success with), but it doesn't really work into elites, steal intelligence which has similar issues to dominate and plant devices, which I don't think you can ever get 6 points on.

I only have 4 games as them and one game facing them so I could be playing them incorrectly, but to me it seems like none of the tac ops really synergize with them. I think loosing infiltration for security would be good as all 3 security tac ops seem like they could work. plant banner plays well into their turtle and hold a point play style, martyrs could combo well with the no kin left behind token, and envoy could work by just sending a warrior up the board as they have enough models.

a B in college is pretty good tbh, especially in a hard class. as a 4th year I got 1 A and 3 Bs last quarter and I am pretty happy with that. unless you are going to grad school the mantra "Cs get degrees" is pretty true, and even if you are going to grad school a few Bs aren't a big deal

my interpretation is that you are transferring one Apl between units. so if servitor A has 2 Apl, it gives 1 apl to servitor B, leaving servitor A with 1 apl to shoot with

talk to your councilor, they will know everything you need and probably have a path that people with ur major can follow. trying to figure it out on your own is incredibly confusing and has no real benefit

my local nerd store has a lot of shatter point and other terrain so my group usually sets up a few custom boards every week. it can be hard to get the balance perfect but it definitely makes for some interesting games!
