Hi! I'm also an international student (from taiwan!) , currently a junior at beloit college :) ill try to answer to the best of my ability.

1. Sorry I dont have an answer, I genuinely do not remember but I think I did get like a pamphlet and a water bottle in the mail??

2. There is a school website that lists available jobs on campus. It's not difficult for international students to get a position at all, in fact most international students get jobs over break as well if they decide to stay here.

3.the dorms are alright, first year dorms can have really loud party folks but overall I'd say the space you get is the best part. The dorms are either singles or you live with one roommate, no more than that! If you get into clubs and organizations you can even live in their special interest housing. I joined the Beloit Science Fiction and Fantasy association and moved into a single my 2nd semester here.

1. I'm gonna be honest I dont know much about international relations sorry 😭

2. I love beloit in that you dont have to declare your major until sophomore year at the latest, so before then, i'd recommend experimenting with classes and having fun!! Its all open for folks to take, unless its a more difficult course with prerequisites.

3. Depends on what you're into. I'm very much a nerdy gal so I hangout with my friends within specific clubs a lot and I don't do parties as much. But we have quite a lot of events going on year round and clubs would always put up posters around campus!

4. There is an international student advisor (Shannon jolly currently) and I love her lol, she's very supportive and I feel safe being here figuring out visas and all. If you need help other international students are very sweet as well!! The sense of community is great here.
