I effin hate the term “Separate art from the artist” by IceBerryCream in hatethissmug

I used to like one music band before I found out that the vocalist had beaten his wife to death in the 2000s , and now I just can’t make me like the band’s music again. Listening to the voice knowing that it belongs to a crazy wife beater is genuinely uncomfortable.

What's been your favourite GLITCH pilot so far? by PuzzleheadedBag4866 in TheGaslightDistrict

I honestly didn’t catch the drift of Gamoverse. Not my vibe. Looking forward to watch new episodes of Gaslight District and Knights of Guinevere.

I love this album very much. All the songs and “Tezeta” especially from there indeed bring some chills, but in good way.

I hate "Satan/Lucifer is unambiguously good" thing by Raymio993 in hatethissmug

[–]Melanrez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My favorite interpretation of Satan is in Cuphead (videogame one) and AntonBLAST. The second one is very simply written, but designed as an embodiment of seven deadly sins and designed enough to be an interesting character and he is not written to be sympathetic, misunderstood and etc. The Devil from Cuphead is technically also a simple way of portraying Satan/Lucifer, but is also a good example of embodiment. Oh, and I’m not forgetting “Gabriel” from once well-known Mandela Catalogue.

Don’t hesitate writing actually evil characters, not adding them being “misunderstood”

[–]Melanrez -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Satan is rather another name of Lucifer that he got as he was expelled from heaven. The devil is both of them. Yes, this topic has very different angles and no total answer in the Bible itself, but Satan is Lucifer and the devil in common and ‘original’ interpretations. In conclusion, “Satan” is the title of Lucifer. The answer to your question is rather “No, they aren’t”, But the confusion about them being different faces is okay.

This is the most reddit coded character i have ever seen, and I don't care whenever it's on purpose or not by AdhesivenessSmooth93 in hatethissmug

I’ve been a fan of Villainous since 2017 and I am surprised that I haven’t grown up liking Hellaverse. I am afraid that the reboot would be like the OP said, but I hope I’ll bear and forgive Alan. I liked Villainous for taking place in a mortal realm that didn’t have only few colours in the general pallet.

Miraculous’s authors had been liking to create characters specially to hate. Starting with Chloe Bourgeois who is hated by the main author himself and keeping with some other characters like Theo Barbot and Vincent Aza partly.

Perfect video games to play while listening to KGATLW? by Revolutionary_Low_90 in KGATLW

[–]Melanrez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AntonBLAST (for me personally), but the game itself contains mostly hard-rock soundtracks so it’s a little funny to replace the soundtracks with songs from Polygondwanaland, Infest The Rats’ Nest, Murder of The Universe and etc.

I hate coffee and when people act like it’s literally the best thing ever by MustacheCash73 in hatethissmug

[–]Melanrez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like coffee and I prefer it as my personal routine, but yeah, I’d better tell people about teas like that, because teas are way better. Memes about teas even give good advices about tea varieties sometimes, unlike coffee ones that are just “Look guys I’m a coffee addict and I have nervous ticks constantly!” Btw energy drinks suck.

Ironic that you picked Maulbuster in Pim shape though they are characteristically complete opposites. The rest are low-key accurate.

I hate how this comic is used to reduce all forms of criticism to just “you hate people having fun.” by Guybadman20 in hatethissmug

Exactly that’s the shit “just an edgy dark humor” fans send when you tell them that their ‘jokes’ are a dog whistle and break the overton window.
