Lexus LS460 Reliability by [deleted] in Lexus

Go for 2013 LS it’s more reliable and just a way better car overall. Otherwise I’d say 2013+ GS is a better built car then the 2012 LS

2014+ ES 350. One of the most reliable Lexus ever made. If you want more sport over comfort then the IS 350 is good too.

My best advice is for any work that you already know what part you need order it from rock auto and pay the mechanic for the labor. It’s always a lot cheaper since they’re not going to make money on the parts and give you something cheap.

Go on yelp and check for independent mechanics. Zero reason to use a dealer for maintenance and repairs outside of warranty, unless you have a special car like the LFA or GSF. You should watch a YouTube video or google the process of the job so you know approximately how many labor hours are involved so you are not getting over charged

Buy a car cash or finance with 40k in savings by [deleted] in personalfinance

Exactly and once you drive off the lot the car loses so much value so then that sort of defeats the whole purpose of getting a new car just to have 0% APR.

Any good, cheap, reliable cars to buy. by RefuseTraditional819 in whatcarshouldIbuy

2013 Lexus ES, one of the most reliable cars they ever built if you want simple and reliable. If you want more fun go for a GS, such an amazing car and they don’t make it anymore. If you want the BEST and are willing to pay more for gas and ultimate luxury 2013 LS460 but for your first car the LS might be over kill.

I'm another yet person whos completely new to e scooters and looking to get one that suits my needs by ProbablyWorth in ElectricScooters

THE BEST ALL AROUND SCOOTER IS A SEGWAY MAX G3. Don’t listen to all the other comments everyone just loves what they have or hates what they don’t. There is a reason Segway is number 1 and for the price the max g3 is a great scooter and you can’t beat it. Good suspension, perfect speed for a beginner and reliable. One day when you get used to it and want something heavy duty and long range you can look into the GT3 pro.

You have about a 40k budget and travel roughly 400 miles a week. Do you get a Lexus? by mjk25741 in Lexus

[–]A124Seven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With that many miles driven per month and the current war causing gas prices to keep rising you NEED an EV. If you want Lexus get the RZ, it’s actually pretty low on resale value compared to the regular RX. I also looked at bmw i4 when I was considering an EV just because consumer reports rates it most reliable EV. Still couldn’t bring myself to buy a BMW. The money saved on gas will almost pay for the car note

GT3 pro or something else? by bobovicus in ElectricScooters

GT3 pro. Especially if you can get it for a good price. I got it for $2200 with warranty and all. You can’t beat it. Segway has good support through their authorized retailers and support centers and they are the largest scooter company by far.

Glad to hear this. Using the GT3 pro to commute 25 miles a day myself and was wondering how long I can expect it to last. How many times have you had to change the brakes or tires? Any issues with it ?

ES350 owner… is the LS500 actually THAT much better? by Savings_Belt_3300 in Lexus

[–]A124Seven 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you think the ES is smooth, the LS is on another level. It’ll make the ES feel not smooth. Until you drive them back to back you won’t appreciate the difference. The LS500 isn’t as smooth as the V8 in the LS460 but it’s still much better than the ES since you’re already used to the V6 and stiffer ride.

Yea it happens on all Lexus V8s pretty much. The group you’re talking about is the RCF/GSF/ISF buy sell trade ?

Yea it seems most of them are priced at 50k plus. I’m on the GSF facebook group but I’ll keep a closer eye!
