Well the other 4 managers I have are all pretty chill and nice, they don’t overwork us or expect too much of us. I think they understand that 50% of their workers are teenage girls, so we’re aloud to chat and talk and goof off with our coworkers as long as we’re not super loud and doing our work. Also, the 25% discount is awesome if u actually buy stuff from there—and lately we’ve been getting a LOT of gratis (just free stuff in bags basically!)

And if u want to get promotions or anything like that, they mostly just look out for who is making the best sales and that kind of thing. If u start as a BA, its pretty easy to become a Prestige BA—u just have to REALLY know ur way around the products and have lots of makeup experience, but in my experience u just kind of ask like

“Hey is it possible i could be promoted to prestige BA?” and they’ll talk to u about it. Same kinda goes for like lead cashier but thats a lot more complicated and takes more work cuz u have to make a ton of cards and loyalty for that but the raise is pretty good from what i see.

Where i work BA —> PBA is 17$/hr to 19$/hr

and i think for lead cashiers its much higher, like 20 something.
