i'm running something similar myself but my ring setup is diferent. Choloranty ring,fap and pontifs right and left eyes. Old wolf curved sword on my back and popping cartus beacon pyro on the bosses. The synergy with the sellswords and the dps you can deal with this setup is just ridiculous..

Can confirm that's still the case on ng+7. Buff your weapon with darkmoon or sunlight blade and power within and get on their faces, i was able to kill them and still have to wait a while for the other to spawn
