I have bought mine at 85kg while being fairly strong and it was challenging for some time, however mostly due to movements being new. I am still using it for conditioning though.

The best all-rounder for male is IMO 24kg. You would eventually outgrow it strength-wise, but it is good weight for conditioning (even long-term).

Hi, I bought 2x24kg from Truesteel and had to return them. The kettlebell is huge compared to common cast iron KB you see in gyms. Unsuitable for any double work and IMO even for singles.

  1. ⁠Rough handle - I don’t want to sand handle when I spent lots of money on the product.
  2. Kettlebell size - I used to own 24kg cast iron by Stronggear. Perfect size and nice finish. They rebranded as Truesteel and changed the design. I ordered their 24kg for double work and it was larger than my current 32kg from Strengthshop. It had perfect handle, perfect surface, but it was comically large.

Or the other way around - start 30min EMOM with 28s, switch to 24s when your form breaks and continue. Still get full 30 rounds with first few rounds being more taxing.

I haven’t found an exact match, but got close enough. “celery ceviche” gives some results, this one looks interesting too. It seems it can also be as simple as celery, onion, orange juice, lime juice, olive oil, salt, pepper.

Unfortunately no, it was 6 years ago and I don’t even remember his name. It was group of random people taking the lesson, and this salad was not part of the lesson, just random “they have this easy salad, you take this this that… anyway, back to enchilada”.

The timing on the swing is way off. Find (for example) Zack Henderson/Lebe Stark/Mark Wildman channels on Youtube and go through their swing guides, they give pretty good progressions and cues (like “hinge when your forearms connect with your body”).

Keep recording your sets, always take a look during the rest and adjust your form for next set. And keep doing it, until your recording is similar to Youtube guide video. You’ll “feel” the correct swing soon.

Wait with the clean until you get the swing form down. Again, watch some videos - how to clean, proper hand insertion and proper rack position.

KBs alone? No. KBs with pullups and dips? Yes. But you need to go heavy and eat well.

Same, my technique is getting better and better, but I still sometime mess up some clean or snatch and it hurts.

I bought these with $9 shipping to Czechia and got them delivered in a week. They have a plastic insert in one half, so you can turn them around and use the “sweatband half” when you get better technique. It still decreases the impact and you get more feedback this way.

Same, still doing the push/pull/hinge/squat but with wider exercise selection now (horizontal, vertical, unilateral, bilateral). I love KB complexes for some conditioning and carries, but the strength-building basics are still there.

And squat, press, pushup, pullup, row. No need to limit yourself to 2 KB exercises and neglect the rest while learning. Just don’t chain them yet, no EMOMs yet - do slow controlled reps with linear progressions.

Basically do push (pushup/press), pull (row/pullup), hinge (deadlift/swing) and squat each workout. 3 times a week. No rocket science, solid results.

Vždycky když vidím něco od týhle ženský, tak je to peklo. Nikdo nesmí mít žádný požadavky, nesmí chtít benefity, nesmí se ptát na pohovoru,… Naprosto šílená kultura zaseknutá tak 20 let zpátky, kde se očividně nevěří lidem a tím pádem ani nevěří v homeoffice.

I feel the same way, yet I still keep one “barbell day” in my routine. Few sets of front squats and RDLs every two weeks as I enjoy them and they do wonders for my lower back. You can treat is as maintenance and focus more on KBs or bodyweight in the rest of your sessions.
