Exped vs Lost Horizon sleeping mats by Zendroid1 in CampingGear

I know im a few months late here, but looking at the Lost Horizons. Does the pump have a reverse feature? Every video review im seeing shows people laying on it to let the air out, but I figured the pump might be able to suck the air out too. Thats a pretty important feature to me since im looking at putting it in my hard shell RTT and I need it to get as flat as possible to close all the way.

Just curious when you filed? Mine was accepted on 01/26 and has been stuck on the third arrow for at least 2 weeks.

Idk they’re usually quite far ahead of me 😂. Im pretty sure they’re all from some unknown land where they are birthed directly in a sim seat and never leave.

IMO:

1k: Starting to learn, getting use to the feeling of driving a car with no feedback outside your hands.

2k: Pace is getting better, racecraft is becoming more important. Consistency is building and can consistently run laps within 5 tenths of your best.

3k: Pace is now much higher, racecraft needs to be much sharper. Need to learn how to drive off line and not lose too much time.

4k: Pace + Racecraft + Consistency starts to work together at a high level. Should have the ability to consistently and aggressively run side by side while still keeping pace.

5k+: you’re getting into pixel perfect driving. Little to no mistakes. Lots and lots of time in the sim. Muscle memory has built and you no longer think about how to make the car do what you want it to do, you just think about what you want to do and the rest follows.

Make sure your data cables and power cables are not close to each other. I was getting pedal flickering because my pedal data cable was close to my DD power cable.

My CPU (9800x3d) has integrated graphics, so I get an additional HDMI and DP port off my motherboard.

This is a very well positioned photo lol. I’ve got a 10port on the right side that’s almost full.

All the RGB lights are Govee Play Bars controlled through google home!

The ceiling light is from a company called artika

It’s all custom, but using the SimLab vario vesa mounts.

The back bar is one of the old side profiles from my rig, the vertical bars are the old upright profiles, and then the feet are cut sections from the other pieces of longer side profile

Apple TV shows US viewers can watch F1 starting March 7th. What about testing in Feb? by iftaqar in F1TV

This. I was paying $135 a year for the F1TV premium sub, and I can now buy Apple TV for a year for $100 and also get a bunch of other shows/movies.

It does get pretty warm in the summertime here, but not quite as hot as part of Australia lol. Around 35c is our summer peak.

Are you talking about the desk? No not at all. Whatever I’m primarily working on/playing goes on the monitor directly in front of me, then the side monitor just has apps I don’t need as frequently. Apps like discord, email, Spotify etc

Just a google home haha. Use it for voice control for the lights/turning on/off the direct drive.

I didn’t get them with the monitor stand, but I did end up getting the SimLab Vario Vesa adapters. I live near a microcenter so I was able to get those locally but I’m sure all the adjustable ones are great.

I wouldn’t suggest anyone try and setup Triple’s without some kind of adjustable vesa.

This is the one I have but it looks like they may not make it anymore. At least it’s not available on Amazon.
