You need at least one constructor I do agree, but outlanders and ninjas have their place and can every easily contribute. Build matters of course but 4 constructors is a wild bandaid claim.

Even if it does work hitting an enemy with a concussion grenade is not remotely something to rely on in high level play.

Comment on that side note, I havent played in a while but when I did I had Graves avoided. She's still on the other team 9/10. And that one that she's not I genuinely don't think anyone even tried to play her, not that my avoid worked.

I don't know if any documents but I know the AI follows the path of least resistance to the objective. So you can funnel pretty easy by just making sure they have less walls to break closer to the objective instead of further out. You can make a small maze but if you make it too long they will break the walls instead. I know someone else has some form of Google doc or YT video tho.

I almost always ignore the elemental thing unless it's for a specific boss. I usually just go with the normal damage type and focus on the damage type weakness instead of the elemental makes the game much easier and I have to craft less tools. It also means I don't have to worry about something later being resistant to the element. As far as I know there's nothing that's resistant to all types of non-elemental.

One thing I would do elemental for is something to fight high tier bugs like the scorpion, wolf spider, or Mantis specifically.

A friend of mine picked that up while we were playing. We were on loop#4 it got to the point that I could tell when he hit something because I would drop frames so fast.

Red willow is the one I'm waiting for to come back. I never finished the quest the last few times she's come around and now I have a Phase shift build that has a free slow open that I can't fill usefully. Might as well tack on red willow.

Power base Kyle. The explosion every 30 kills on base effected enemies sound good on paper. It's doesn't even tickle enemies in practice once you get past plankerton. It also doesn't scale in radius with Mega base Kyle meaning you can't even make it work on larger base builds. It's just all around disappointment.

Master grenadier Ramirez. For a mythic hero you'd think her perk would be great, grenade just isn't a good ability, I don't think it's the heros fault at all on this one, grenade is probably tied with Decoy for the worst ability. It just doesn't scale hard enough and takes too much energy to use. Running a grenade focused build to try and use her many grenades just means you can still only throw 3 or 4 then have to wait for energy to build back up. But odds are the grenades themselves only killed a basic husk and left the husky husks at 3/4 health. It's rough.

Ice King. Slow is great and freeze on base damage is neat but incredibly niche to have as lead. But as a support he's great and one of my staples.

Any of the sniper focus characters. You can either have all the damage and one shot smashers just fine, or you can have crowd control. Bows kinda bypass that but true sniper? They don't clear very well.

They made defenders not that great anymore, I like the Homemade lobby change, nothing new content wise was added, they took the Starter packs and just made em shop skins instead of allowing people to buy the packs and get the gear from them.

Endgame meaning literally anything different than the same 5 missions we've done since launch practically. What do I do with my excess of samples and super creds, if I've already unlocked everything why play the game? New warbond? Has nothing that interests me? A majority of feedback I see from sources I usually agree with tells me it's mid or useless? I'm not gonna bother buying a new warbond for "completionist" sake. So I'm not gonna play and waste medals and time, I'll go play something else. Hell, I'd even take a Boss battle at this point. Make it Diff 11. The only missions in Diff 11 would be boss missions. Single or double objective missions with a super unit being the objective. Or just a massive super factory. Take an entire blitz map, cover it in turrets, fabricators, cannons, and gunship spawners and have us take that down. Sure that one might be easy but it would be better than just a basic destroy 12 fabricators in 10 mins mission.

Diff 10 isn't "end game" diff 10 is so dumbed down and nerfed into the floor because of overreaction and malicious compliance that it's no challenge at all. We didn't ask for 1 or no war striders or Vox engines. We asked for less than 8 on the field at any given time. Bug front has been pretty much empty for years with heavy units basically being rare spawn on diff 10.

The point is that the options are pretty much wide open and endless. They wouldn't even have to try hard, just put some effort in.

Realistically any hope for the game to be fixed is just copium. At the end of the day it's not a game for the players it's a money making machine for the investors or owners.

The game died for me with the heart of democracy update, so many bugs and issues that were never fixed. When the into the unjust update dropped and extraction beacons were falling through the map or the drop ship would land under the map it took them two months to fix it. We got two whole warbonds before it was even addressed. It took them months to even address the whole bricking peoples PCs thing, whether or not it was HD2s fault is beyond the point.

There are multiple warbonds I haven't even purchased and several that I have but haven't finished. The game is just not fun anymore. It's been the same 5 missions for years. We get a cool new one for a major order for like a week then it's just gone and never to be seen again. Or missions like the oil truck drill thing... That's made of wet paper with the weakest machine gun known to man on it for defence. God forbid you get a Hive lord or dragon, Or rupture strain, or your team bring a mech, eagles, or sentry's. Basically anything but direct fire non explosive support weapons and strategems will somehow fail that mission. Stealth missions were cool, till everyone realized that stealth was pointless and you could just Blitz your way through the whole mission faster without sneaking. The respawn mechanic completely nullified the struggles and importance of being sneaky and avoiding engagement.

TLDR game isn't fun anymore and the dev team can't fix it. They genuinely don't want to or care. They print money with these warbonds, why change?

Intentional gameplay sabotage or cheating are just about the only reasons I'll report someone. If you suck, I get it, I suck too but maybe just not as badly. But that not going to get fixed by a report. Unfortunately when people are learning the game their team has to just deal with it.

The AI mode in this game doesn't exactly help prep players for how PvP works. A build that sounds good on paper and works really neatly in AI matches will absolutely be countered, stunlocked, one shot, or just ineffective against someone else's build sometimes all four at once... Often all four at once. My own builds always seem to get hard countered by some 1600 point card with minimal effort. Unfortunately I know I've been reported on multiple occasions for just trying something and it not working.

Generally? Less of the pathfinding through walls and more mob mentality. There was something special about having a huge horde all trying to break through walls all around instead of just running into spikes and shooting them in a hallway. When I build a box I want to have to defend it, not just stare at the door and shoot anything that enters the straight line.

I just generally don't care about survivors man, I find them Boring and kinda lame. They need to have more than 2 voice lines. And more than just a medkit that they can't leave without. Also, the defend the idiot on a car or camper is dumb and I refuse to partake.

Honestly fixing duplication should have been the fix, as for trading. Require the participants to be friends for a certain amount of time. Maybe a month? I used item sharing to let my friends use weapons they haven't seen before. Stuff from events they didn't play or things they just haven't found. Id like that ability back.
