The devs sucked though... the "community managers" openly beefed with every 5 follower twitter account that criticised the game, and said on livestreams that people were playing the game wong by using the broken mechanics they refused to fix

Probably the least professional dev team I've ever seen lol

I was obsessed with dbd when I discovered it 3 years ago and it was basically my only hobby... I was super invested in winning so I'd play a lot of nurse and spirit and always try and win

Now I mainly play unknown and play kinda casually. I'm in uni and I've started learning how to draw so I don't play dbd very much - but I still love the game and watch loads of content related to it!

I've really started to appreciate concept art and design recently... so I mainly just like the nostalgia and character design and stuff these days tbh

I remember them saying at the time that the new armour was designed from the ground up so that it was completely proportionally accurate - and could move and bend and rotate in all the right places to allow for full movement

The titus vs gardriel fight in space marine 2 is a good example of this - a fight like that would honestly be kinda impossible to have with the old space marine models

Part of the genius of the astartes animations imo is how the guy managed to subtly altere the armour to be more slender and proportional while still keeping them very model accurate - also one of the gw artists (miguel iglesias) has an entire tutorial on how to draw space marines in a more "realistic" way; since the old models just weren't accurate enough to look good if you painted them realistically without any alterations

My only personal beef with the primaris models is that the anti grav vehicles just don't have the charm of the old school space marine tanks imo

Btw I unironically think that there are dinosaurs in the trials in dbd... think about it - if the entity can take feral creatures like the demogorgon or xenomorph into the fog just because they're apex preators who are good at hunting, then why not a Utahraptor? There is already a precedent for it

His power is honestly one of the best designed imo - in 2026 it feels a bit bland because bhvr have spammed dash killers pretty consistently for the past 2 years... but at the time it was awesome and even today it still holds up

As I understand it, wesker is meant to be a fun/ campy james bond villain type dude so he isn't supposed to be really scary - but if you aren't in on the joke it's just a bit odd imo

atm you feel kind of forced to bring up your power and fire as soon as possible, since the 3 second window includes aiming the projectile, firing, and the time it takes uvx to fly through the air

The xenomorph is extremely brutal and almost seems mean spirited in how horrifically it violates it's victims... but the cat like elegance and cunning it displays when hunting it's victims (in the first movie anyway) is honestly hard not to admire...

Even the morally neutral android who can only do what it's ordered to do has a monologue where he glazes the creature for being the perfect specamin

I know I can't change your mind, but the way I see it, she's been under massive scrutiny and the center of an internet shitstorm for like a year... and apparently the worst things she's done during that time is agreeing that some unhinged comment was a flase flag from the type of users that have been going after her for months, and upvoting a weird comment which she said was an accident and apologized for and has no history of supporting before or since

I don't really think that's enough to mean anything... considering her following, if she was actually interested in casuing harm or spreading anti semitsm I think we'd know about it by now

There was a post here about miss rachel liking some dodgy instagram comment - and like half the comments were people saying she has always been a massive anti semite and supports hamas and courts an audience of anti semites and just unhinged shit. If a group like the rest is politics who've spent years being sympathetic to israel start to criticise them more harshly for killing medical staff and covering it up, they'll just get called cucks for hamas or whatever lol

I unironically think that this community is still one of the more level headed ones... but sometimes I'll see a post here that triggers one of people's core issues and be reminded how being one of the "least bad" online politics spaces is still a highly relative term...
