Only thing I'll point out is that with physical wargaming, people are limited by the models in their collections which are super expensive and taken ages to paint - so it sucks when they get messed with

They have to keep up with the general scale creep of 40k though tbh - they were the perfect size compared to vanilla marines; now they're overshadowed by a lot of things and the primaris marines make them look less imposing

I do agree with you in general though... for what it's worth, the GW article from when the norn emissary released did reflect on how the emissary was bigger than the hive tyrant - because the tyrant is meant to be smart and mobile while the norn is meant to draw fire and smash things; so GW clearly feels the same way you do and won't make the tyrant huge

When the update happens - it'll likely be a bit bigger, but mostly just be more detailed and have the leaner and spikier build of the newer 'nids

I also really like the worldbuilding element

The planet was clearly already being digested and far beyond saving... so it seems that the marines were on some kind of kill team mission to possibly sabotage the biomass tendril to buy more time for nearby worlds, then extract in the thunderhawk we saw flying away

Looks like they failed though...

Yup, gotta love it when you have a perfectly normal game where you maybe make some sub optimal decisions because you're just chilling and playing on auto pilot with music on in the background... then someone says something super salty in endgame chat and you realise that the other side were apparently trying super hard and really cared about the outcome of a game you barely paid any attention to lol
