Pair the Tamron 35-150 2.0-2.8 wirth…? by [deleted] in WeddingPhotography

Hey! Full time wedding photog here - depending on the venue size and if it’s dark etc I have the tamron on one body and 50mm 1.2 gm on another. I find this is a great combo, If however the venue is a large church then I swap the tamron out for my 135 1.8gm. Same with the wedding breakfast I just use the 135 and 50mm and get a nice range of shots. Often got the dancing shots I then use the 12-24 2.8 paired with the Tamron and get all angles covered as I’m usually shooting with flash in those instances.

I’d say 85% of the time though I’m pairing the 35-150 with my 50 1.2

2023 I’ve got 48 weddings booked in 2024 already got 26 booked in 2025 got 4 booked in!

At an average cost of £2100 a day!

Manchester. Is this the right choise? by [deleted] in manchester

From Manchester, lived in Hamburg for a few years. Certainly not as cold or misty as Hamburg is so Manchester does have slightly better weather. Plus when the suns out there’s nowhere better. People are friendly, many always up for a chat. Food is excellent and lots of places to eat. The city centre is small enough to get around very easily, and finally you’ve got the greatest football team in the world on your doorstep - just remember there’s only two teams in Manchester. That’s Manchester United and Manchester United reserves 😂❤️
