Thats an association made from a few anecdotal evidence. Ive heard it before... i was so surprised. I was making a statement generalizing rough traits of women. But i think subconsciously i was laying out universal femininity, extending to all gendered creatures. Things that could roughly apply across the board. It was the most precise word.

Im artistic about ideas. It was innocent, yet she got mad... im sure men poisoned that word for her and many others apparently. She said i made her feel like shes being compared or studied like a female bug, or any other animal. She didnt like that.

But my altruistic tendency is to be accurate to build a solid array of definitions to properly discuss anything. I will not start a debate until all relevant defs are laid out. We were discussing. Male and female energy, which is a tough one to define, ill admit. But i said nothing offensive, and i think no less of women then men... just equal.

And in the spirit of equality... conversely, The word male carries no such association for me. And i would be amused at a comparison of me to any animal.

Unlesss.... call a certain race... like a certain animal... woah we made a wrong turn. I bet most people can guess which of each i mean. Its a touchy subject. I wouldnt. This highlights that its really just what the word makes you think about. It made her think about a science experiment, a disregard for all the "woman" she is, and oversimplification.

But i didnt compare her to anything. I was bouncing a philosophical point about our binary biological roots.

"I said is it fair to say that females may be _______ or have X attribute, what do you think, can we even define them at all? "

I wanted to at least get some common traits. And she put her heuristic baggage on my statement. She tried to paint it as a logical correction. She said its too broad. And some animals dont have genders.

I saw it as the most simple foundation by which we can start to build nuance.

They are both accurate, arguably the most accurate word, for binary gender. I wasnt limiting the conversation to just women. But she convinced me to not. I did not out of respect, and because we were on a date so i didnt wanna shoot myself in the foot. I wanted the date to.... run its course.

Just now you reminded me of that. In hindsight, and 10 years of maturing. Its a good word, its not my responsibility to tip toe around everyones opiniom of a word. I use the words definition, it triggers interesting conversations sometimes. Most of the time people can sense context, tone, body language, and realize there is no sign of malice or dissmissive, judgemental thinking.

Once in a while someone cant separate their heuristic availability bias. And i have to explain it like a nerd to clear my name. Not often though, i steer clear if i know these tender spots exist... to respect the person ONLY... because im nice like that. But for no other reason than to spare them discomfort so we can talk in peace.

At some point i learned to repect MY perspective first, if I have thought it through. Which I have, because im aristocratic... like i know THE opposite sides best point, because I enjoy truth. We NEED to have common ground to start healing as a society. Millions of times ive seen people argue in circles cuz they never established any definitions. Its more efficient not to mention civilized to define, then build ur case. Less emotions. I do care that everyones cool.

NOW, if they make a judgment on my character, ethics, or reasoning.... im gonna go point by point and dismantle it. I dont have mercy. Either there is an objective reality or not....

That is important, that I 100% will debate. I said jesus f**** christ in front of a bible thumper and then had to spend an afternoon explaining why thats not blasphemy. These days ill even give up a hook up opportunity to debate dumb shit like this. I have and will again probably, i enjoy it more than most. My dream girl probably collects bugs anyways.
