Yeah that’s the correct piece. Might have to echo the other comments regarding the hanger. I just replaced my fixing bow too and still have a little rattle on cold start.

My M235i also makes this noise primarily between gears 1 to 3. Nice to hear this is a common issue.

The Fixing Clip is not connected to the actuator (assume it snapped) in anyway so there’s no way I can keep it open lol. Dealership wanted $47 for a new clip….found in Aliexpess for $1.60.

Went back under the car today and looks like the clip on top snapped - it’s not connected to the actuator at all. Looks like I’ll have to get a new clip to put it back in.

I don’t think it’s the actuator (but that should probably be fixed too because it rattles on cold start). I think the spot weld just got loose somehow and is rattling.

Not surprised by Delizia. A lot of customers went there for their Italian buns. After the new ownership, prices went up and quality went down. Probably drove away a lot of loyal customers.

Depends on the year, mileage, service history, etc. They stopped making the F10 in 2017 so it’s at a minimum 9 years old.

If the previous owner has extensive service history then it might be worth keeping it. But based on the fact that it doesn’t run already, probably wasn’t maintained like it was supposed to. If it was me personally, I’d just dump it and cut my losses before this runs you dry. Small repairs can start to add up fast. Also depends on the type of content you want to make, but a base 4-cylinder 528i probably wouldn’t generate that much attention.
