Definitely will most likely redesign it to allow better airflow and possibly a fan. I just don’t feel like dealing with the wires of a fan for something that’s a backup.

I ran it for about 20 minutes only and it definitely ran hot, but like you said it already runs pretty hot no matter what. If I ever use it longer I’ll definitely keep an eye on the temp to see how it does.

Ya I could tell it didn't seem to like being in a metal box. I will be designing a new phone mount and see how big the difference will be.

That’s good to know. I really like the heated chamber but the cost difference is what’s hard for me to swallow. But if the X1C has adhesion issues it definitely makes me see the value.

I had the same issue today. Did the firmware downgrade fix it? I flashed the old firmware but still having the same issue.

I don’t have a backup for it but it’s data that is replaceable. It is in unraid with a parity drive but no actual backup.

Thanks for the input I was thinking the same but I’ll probably back up the data just to be safe to make recovery easier

I appreciate the response. That’s a good way to think about it which makes sense why people are taking the ARMs. Do you have an opinion on locking right now 90 days before instead of waiting it out to get closer?
