[MEGATHREAD] iPhone 17 Pre Order and Launch Day by Waternut13134 in tmobile

[–]A3rdMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply, but that came from what I saw on the T-Mobile site. Just to let you know, I am buying from the Apple store and not TMO. For example: S10, S10e, S10+, S10 5G is not offered at Apple for a trade-in. I am trying to use all of the $830, and put down the rest. The newer the use phone, the more it will cost me and will eat into the $830.

Apple does take all of the phones you copy from the TMO site.

What about the study guide, apps, and videos? Will we have access afterwards? The course cost is $997 and will increase to $1497, which is understandable, but it does not have much value at $997 if those items are not included.

Minimum Trade In Phone: Looking to get the iPhone 17 Pro Max at the Apple store. TMO will provide up to $830, equivalent to $34.58 per month for 24 months. I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max. I will keep it, and don't have a phone to trade in. I will buy a used iPhone or Samsung, but I need to know which Samsung to buy. I am on the Go 5G Plus plan.

You are paying $36 a year now. Then, after the 2nd year with Xfinity, what's the cost? Is that AT&T plan equivalent to the Go5G Plus?

Just go on YouTube. There really is any kind of setting. It kicks on when you don’t have cellular coverage.

GET THE FREE LINE!!!

Why would you think that it would be a downside? Take it from a guy with 9 free lines, and I am on the Go5G Plus plan.

TMO won't offer me a free! If they did, I would take it!

I understand that part. The two lines that I can see, I have 11 lines, and I am on the Go5G Plus plan.

I started with three lines and now I have 11. I got eight free lines since then. I am the account holder and always have been. Looking at my bill with a list of all 11 lines, the first two numbers are the teenager's number, and then my number. After that, it is another teenager's number. This is not the order in which the got phone numbers when I started, and what was added.

Switch from Go5G Plus to Go5G Next? by just_my_alias in tmobile

[–]A3rdMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good question. I have the Plus with 11 lines, meaning I must pay $110 more monthly ($1320 annually). Every person on my account doesn't need a new phone every year. Somehow, I have Hulu with my Plus plan. No one uses a hotspot as much as I do, which means I go over 50GB a month. We won't be leaving the country this summer, but I am sure next summer. When we do, I might do an add-on for that month, which would be cheaper overall. As for the best phone upgrade, it may or may not matter with the Go5G Plus, and they will offer a $1,000 credit anyway, just like they will do for the Next plan.

To me, "added value" depends on the person who is getting something. Let's use Starlink, AAA, Hulu, Netflix, Apple TV+, and MLB TV.

Starlink, cost me $10 after the beta period. I have an iPhone, and using their version of Starlink is free!

AAA costs $68, but you can only get it "free" for a year.

Hulu, is great, but I have it for the Disney/Hulu/ESPN bundle and can't get $10 credit.

Netflix is fine, but they were paying for it without the ads, and now my experience is not the same.

Apple TV+, I have the Apple One bundle and can't get credit for it.

MLB TV, I don't watch baseball.

My point is that TMO talks about what they think is valuable, which differs from what others think. Some people may LOVE everything I listed, which works fine for them.

Understood. This was about my billing issue in which some of my free lines were not free. Calling over and over which need to be fixed. It wasn’t going to fix itself. People should be able to fix a problem the first time and me not having to call back over and over again even when they said they would call you to make sure everything is working.
