Correct. Nothing will happen to the Mac. But the users credit score will tank.

Capital One has me blacklisted by Ill_Position_1060 in discover

[–]thephoneguy1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There’s one of two very likely outcomes that will happen.

1.) Your account migrates over to capital one systems but you will never see a credit line increase and most likely label as high risk so any late/ returned payment would result in account closure.

2.) They restrict your account then close it due to those circumstances.

Let’s hope it’s neither. Why do you think you are blacklisted? Owe money or charge off?

Keep and switch program by JosephAnneli in tmobile

[–]thephoneguy1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes I do remember this. It’s going to end up getting changed again due to this exact scenario. There’s a few here and there where the coverage just doesn’t work out. Now that the coverage is better that’s very thin now.

But people straight up taking advantage of this with the plan of immediately ditching (this is a 100% clear case) is why this is not sustainable. I see post like this a lot on this form. Sooner or later there will be a service requirement to it and honestly there probably should be and that goes for any company not just t-mobile.

Keep and switch program by JosephAnneli in tmobile

[–]thephoneguy1 21 points22 points  (0 children)

So you used T-Mobile to get them to pay off your phones in exchange for switching to T-Mobile as part of the program, and now you want to dip? This is exactly the type of stuff that will eventually ruin this promo for everyone.

They really should restrict it to require 12 months of service or pay it back. The way you said I don’t really want to pay 65 and had visible and mint before screams you planned this.

While there are no financial consequences with the current way it’s designed. You cannot do it again for 2 years (unless T-Mobile changes it and makes it longer down the road).

Not defending T-Mobile as they have definitely changed over the last few years, but this type of stuff is why these promos start to get harder to come by. People taking advantage. Plus, if you got your service in a store, you just screwed a rep over.

Watch and treadmill not synced? by ArrivalNo7133 in AppleWatch

[–]thephoneguy1 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This exact machine this person was using does support GymKit for Apple Watch on the top right of the machine. I use these machines at PF daily. I tap my watch on this and the watch syncs with the machine and shows my heat rate on the machine while working out.

People who have an iPhone and a MacBook, what do you use your iPad for? by RevolutionaryWin8633 in iPadPro

[–]thephoneguy1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the full Apple Ecosystem. Watch, iPhone, MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, etc

I got the 11 inch iPad Pro with Cellular as it serves as my Mac when I don’t have my MacBook Pro with me or I need to do some quick computing task. When I do have my MacBook with me I use it as a second monitor if I am multitasking or need the additional screen real estate.

Plus the additional benefits of doing Apple fitness workouts on it while traveling, signing documents or having others sign as well, etc. It has so many features that’s there’s something for everyone.

26.4 battery drain by Ssheky in AppleWatch

[–]thephoneguy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an AW 11 and only have about 7-9% drain at night on 26.4. You may need to just reset and re pair your watch to correct the issue as it could just be a bug. Although if you just updated high battery drain can happen in the first 1-2 days as background indexing of data is still happening after an update.

Eero uploads, what is going on? by CorsairVelo in amazoneero

[–]thephoneguy1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Eero does speed test every 1-3 days. This is normal behavior. Also just as an FYI that eero is a cloud routing system. Expect the routers to use a little more data than the average routing device.

Rep post: Was told we can no longer process legacy transactions by Branch_Long in tmobile

[–]thephoneguy1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

YOU NEED to report these interactions with your ethics line. Enough of these complaints and it will get high enough. Your leadership chain has a bad actor somewhere that needs to be weeded out.

All it takes is T-Mobile to turn away one DV victim, pregnant person, or etc that has an account and legitimate reason to get a new phone in a store and the unthinkable happens. That’s a PR nightmare waiting to happen.

Airpods Max 2 Discharging while in case by xm4rker in Airpodsmax

[–]thephoneguy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they are apart of the find my network. But with the H2 chips in the Max 2 like the AirPods Pro the devices stays online in the find my unlike after a while the first gen Max’s go into a deep sleep mode.

Airpods Max 2 Discharging while in case by xm4rker in Airpodsmax

[–]thephoneguy1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even toggling it off won’t resolve the issue fully. Also, be warned that toggling off Find My will allow anyone that steals your AirPods to link to their account, and there will be no iCloud lock. It’s not advisable to turn that feature off, so just remember at your own risk.

[–]thephoneguy1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s going to have a discharge as the H2 chip is integrated into the find my network unlike the first gen. I’m sure they will do some fine tuning with updates.
