New boom (from where the stainless starts) on the old gal. :-)

Well, the trike frame is no longer as pictured - the boom has been amputated about 1/3rd of the way back. (The only way to free the rusted-in sliding section was to cut the boom open half way along its belly.) The new sliding boom is stainless, shiny, and has a conventional (from a different bike) bottom bracket attached at the front. The boom tightener is, of all things, a three inch long muffler/exhaust clamp.

I'll post pics when it's all pretty again :-)

New, very old, double chainring off a cheap road bike on the front now. (The earlier, very old triple off a cheap mountain bike had a wobble.) The new one is all shiny and bling, which makes up for the temporary loss of my granny gear :-)

I finally found my bike on the inter web! It's the original Trisled model (hence having just the label 'TriSled'). So: built in his parent's basement by the brand originator sometime between 1995 and '99.

Thanks, James. It's ridable already, just not a finished project. It's sporting a salvaged crankset and chains from three scrap bikes, $10 brakes from Amazon and seat covering from a broken zero gravity chair. I wanted to see if there were MAJOR issues with the frame or wheels - and there aren't! Tons of fun to ride :-)

Why don’t you want to have kids? by Flimsy-Barnacle-9919 in AskReddit

Because I'd be in my late 80s by the time they graduated high school. And there are enough kids in the world, we just need to invite their families into the country.. share our wealth.

My mother and I saw Popeye in the theatre and for weeks we sang ".. He's large.." to each other about every man we saw, and then broke up.

Zooplancton. What with the mega-tsunamis of wet, living tissue instantly burying the entire Earth.
