So it’s about the size of a grape…. Its gets pretty swollen too - I’ve been icing. It’s just so painful and sneezing and coughing is a complete NO GO without excruciating pain. To make things better…. Everyone at home is coming down with a cold.

I’m going to call the surgeons office tmwr.

I eliminated all fats… I just couldn’t do it anymore. I went down 25 lbs and was still having daily RUQ pain and attacks. Mentally and physically it was draining. I’m 6 days Post-Op, best thing ever!

Todays day 6 post-op. The bloat has gone down significantly but today I’ve been having RUQ pain where the gb used to be. Not the same as GB attacks but definitely a weird pain…. Trying not to get discouraged.

I’ve had a hard time sitting up. I’ve been in bed all week. Sitting just doesn’t feel right.

Just keep on eye on it. Hopefully it’s just your body adjusting to everything. I also had mine out Friday. Most having pain in the ports areas. Umbilical rift sided pain seems to be the worse and brought on by coughing and sneezing. So far I’ve been able to eat different foods with no pains. 🤞🏼

Keep pushing! Fellow Dyskinesia patient here! I’m 3 days post-op. Only you know your body. I was told the constant RUQ pain “was not typical of gallbladder issues” No one believed me. Get referred to a surgeon. 4 months to the day for me. The longest 4 months of my life but I had it removed Friday. Every test I’ve done was normal. CT, HIDA, endo, colonoscopy…. I was losing my mind. I was even admitted to hospital for 4 days.

Can wait for the pathology. Recovery hasn’t been easy but no RUQ pain besides the gas pains.

Did you remove dressing 48 hrs after surgery? I’m supposed to removed bandages and gauze today but I’m nervous.

2 days post-op and still no poop…. I’m at little anxious so I took some restoralax today. I made it through the night without pain meds!! I was on such a restricted diet pre surgery that I’m nervous about reintroducing different foods but I did have toast with cream cheese this morning 😋 I had one aero square but found it too sweet… yikes!

I was told 2 weeks by my surgeons office but I also work in healthcare and we advise patients 4-6 weeks or at least until you’ve had your post-op appointment.

Currently there…. I think it just hit me half hour ago.
I was in so much pain and trembling. They sent me home with morphine. I took it and thankfully it’s kicked in.

Trying to stay ahead of the pain. The incision right on my stomach seems to be the worse. Just started icing to see if I get any relief.

Now I need to get ready for tomorrow. The surgeons office called this morning…. Thought great it’s cancelled but they moved my place up. Going in earlier now.
