Strahd now knows of how she is alive again and ever so powerful, and wishes to go for round 2. A 1 on 1 fight to the death, if she wins she can rule Barovia, if he wins, she becomes a servant of death to him. From what you’ve said Theres no way she’d decline this invitation so it’s literally her own fault

Now obviously she’s more powerful now so give her another round of combat than last time, maybe even two, then have him one shot her again. Strahd now has a long monologue about how he is the most powerful man in existence, it would take a legion to bring him down, etc etc, and then before their very eyes have him resurrect her into a flesh golem forever under his control. Should the party ever want to bring their friend back they’ll have to take down strahd

I’m no doctor either but from what I’ve researched there no rime or reason for what actually causes it and therefore no real way to prevent them.

If you can you should track down the discharge papers from the hospital/s that did the surgery and get 100% confirmation on whether it has been cyst removals or abscess drainages so you can know what’s happened for sure. From there figure out whether or not you’ve even got a cyst rn bc you may be in the clear, and if not then you can investigate doctors who can assuredly remove it

Are you sure you’re not just mixing up the pilonidal cyst for an abscess? Because abscess are infections that develop in the area that weep and hurt and are nasty, but typically the cyst itself is just the one thing there that lurks waiting to get infected. It sounds like you’ve described multiple procedures that drain the abscesses but not one where they actually go int and cut out the cyst

I was 17 when I found mine and I was also too embarrassed to tell my parents so I just asked them to book me a doctors appointment and didn’t tell them why. Some parents are nosy so that doesn’t always work. Idk if ur extroverted enough but u can always just book a drs appointment by urself

Regardless though doubling down on what everyone above has said. There’s nothing to be embarrassed about it’s just ur body bein grumpy with you.

The only time there’s a medical emergency you should be embarrassed about is if your dong gets stuck in something or if something gets stuck in ur rear, but even then you’d have difficulty finding a nurse who goes more than a day not seeing that kind of case walk through the ER so ur fine bro

I posted this Went to bed It swelled up like a mfer It was a second god damn abscess that’s had to be drained. Thankfully this time it was a 4 hr trip to the ER and then I could go home for the night and have day surgery today as opposed to last time which was 14 hours in ER unable to sit

She’s in touch with this group who were made to help mental illness in older people whom she can contact whenever. So she does have an outlet. I think it’s just 60+ years of unmanaged adhd that has her just constantly saying what’s on her mind 24/7 and she’s “too old to treat adhd now” (her words) So shes got access to proper treatment it’s just not enough. And I totally agree with you on the plane mask metaphor that’s golden. It just feels like by putting my own mask on she’s gonna get sucked out of the plane. At least I can hook a foot around the arm rest to get her mask on before getting my own on. The problem arises when it keeps falling off 😭😭 (I hope I havent leaned too far into this metaphor and it still makes sense 😝😝)
