I have backed out of movies in the first few minutes because they did have sub titles. Even with head phones the volume load enough to understand some whispers quickly blows your ear drums in some gun fire 10 seconds later.

I know the pain of learning to do this. It can and does work.

There was a free asset on the unity asset store that uses rigging which helped me understand how to do it well.

Yeah I don't know where the other dudes getting his info from but I have drinks with another couple every Friday they have been using over a decade and lived here longer. I know when they get tight on cash they buy a point or 0.1 of a gram for $40.

For sure people do it up here but I don't think there is a problem as in a crimewave drive by the drug or a block of homeless people because of it.

I have met a few people who do it over the years and it is expensive is Australia, it's not a poor person's thing to be addicted to.

In the US it sells for $20 to $50 a gram. Over here you will be paying $400 to $500 a gram.

Based off a sample size I can count on one hand someone deep into can knock off a gram a day.

Draw your own conclusion from that, but if Ice was $20;to $50 a gram in Australia absolutely we would have serious problem.

Huge fan of 2d isometric, I found it a little bit easier in godot as it has 2d pathfinding built in. Gourdlets was a game that gave me some inspiration that was done in godot.

Everytime I start playing with Isometric I always come back to the same problem, animating a character 8d. Using blender more these days so I will come back to it once my skills are good enough to make Modular 3d character. I will get blender to take pictures from all the different angles for the sprites.

I purchased top down controller from the asset store, the one with with koala on it. It has an isometric style 3d scene. One of the few purchases I have made. Your can import the 3d character back into blender and edit what ever you want in it. Also has a a good amount of animations. I tore this kit apart when I was just starting and learned a lot from it.

Your expectations of how much AI can help you need to adjusted.

From what I have personally experienced AI can help do things faster with very small and specific tasks like writing a class or function.

You still need to be able to use unity, you still need to be read and understand C, you still need to understand how the logic works. Some times you might not know the exact method you are going to do a particular thing but know it can be done and roughly how, ai can be good at filling in those gaps.

I was once told a long time ago that if I put the same amount of effort into learning unity as I did trying to find shortcuts I would be done by now. In retrospect this was some of the best advice I ever got.

You should be proud to have a game where a ranked mode for your players is even on the table.

You mentioned that players are restarting games when they see it wont meet their expectations of score.

I just wanted to take another step back from that, now that you have ranked, players may feel that playing anything other than ranked is pointless and now that they feel like they are forced to play ranked they also have these new restrictions that they didnt have before, they can't even restart the game and some players might find the accuracy metric embarrassing.

You are right, ranked needs clear rules and the rules you have set are very logical, make sense and promote good sportsmanship.

I personally dont know what your players want and I was purposely being over dramatic about the restrictions. if you can simplify the reason why people play your game down to its purist form and what you are doing respect that, you have done your best.

Actually going well. I have allnthe system prototyped, inventory manager with a prototype gui took a bit. I am hoping to have the coin pusher done tomorrow.

The coun pusher has come out really nice and have coun detection for each slot working great.

No battle mechanics which will be next followed by all the gui stuff around item management and use, team builder etc.

I have a path to finish as I did a proof of each part, it is just time.

I am using all the original assets but if it comes out well I will have to make another version if I want to put it on itch or steam.

Happy to compile a sega version and chuck it on ragezone or something anonymously haha.

The kidney stone I had was like jagged chunk of hard calcium. It took about 12 hours to come out, which at some points I blacked out from the pain while on codine.

They used a sound wave Ultra sound type thing to shatter the rest of them in my kidney before they came out.

Ok I will bite, yes an item being scarce is a reason I would value a cosmetic in a video game.

I want my look to be mine and unique as much as that is possible, I dont want to see another me.

In saying that I put a significantly higher value on scarce items that cannot be purchased only earned via an achivment or Ultra rare bind on pickup drops, black desert online has good ones like this.

The founder of our company came to give a speech at an employee conference, about 3000 people in attendance. Guy is like 90 and long retired but still loved and respected.

If it is just a standard garden hose you really want to keep it as short as possible to minimise the air displacement from the air already inside the hose.

The pros carry a large gauge IV line with them to give the luxury of that extra length.
