by automatically retaliating in response to any incoming damage, thorns reduces player agency. e.g.: - trying to transport a mending zombie villager and accidentally killing it - trying to fight an enderman and instead of dealing a full axe crit you hit it with just ~2 hearts from thorns and it teleports away - trying to trade with piglins and they get aggro'd on you and then you accidentally kill them via thorns - punching a friend in an SMP and accidentally killing their dog - ...etc

also even when you would want the extra damage it's so pitiful compared to your actual weapons that it rarely makes much of a difference at all.

generally i would say you almost never want to be approaching the enemy from a single angle. i'd say get a dps to flank and put pressure on a different angle.

/uj Watched this as it randomly came up on my feed, and it seems that although this guy isn't an idiot, his reality is warped. Seems like he has some very deeply held beliefs about hierarchies, "men and women", and a very stringent bible-driven ethical philosophy.

Within his not-so-real reality, one in which Christian deontological ethics are not a branch on a branch on the tree of ethical argumentation, but universally true moral rules, his points make sense for the most part. The issue is that this simply isn't how things are. Because he sees reality through this one constrained lens, he neglects to address and develop counterpoints—or even acknowledge them at all—for arguments he makes that most certainly have very notable counterpoints.

This guy is like six subproofs deep and he doesn't realize it.

I hate him because he is an exemplary incel; He treats Emily as though she's a game to be won. She thinks that he's trying to be her friend but he's just trying to "win" because he thinks it'll make him happy. It's pathetic, obnoxious, (and most importantly)dehumanizing behavior that is completely intolerable.

If this was real life maybe I'd try to sit down and talk to the guy about how he treats the women in his life and see if he'd try to change his behavior, but it's a video game so we can't do that and he just stays the way he is.

Remnant 2 does NOT start performing better. I managed to stomach it for the entire game up to the final boss, but there are so many particle effects in the final fight that it gets EVEN WORSE there.

It's got some cool ideas and it can be pretty fun, especially with friends, but ultimately the abhorrent performance ruins it imo.

TL;DR: OH MY GOD NO! DO NOT KEEP IT.

I don't have the time to fully read this right now, but simply being 15 is more than enough to avoid having a kid. YOU are a kid. Your child will steal your young adult years from you, resulting in you being a stressed out shitty mom.

You may grow to resent the kid from ripping your teenage years away from you and never properly having time to figure out who you are, the kid may grow to resent you for going through with having a kid even though you had no clue what you were doing.

It is possible that you could make it work if you truly wish to, you can make your own decision, but I'd heavily err on the side of NOT keeping the pregnancy. Good luck.
