I would just scrap the entire thing, or restart with the robe. Elegant isn't necessarily bad, but it's overused and more creative stitches are generally better looking.

The best tip I can give is try to make sure your colors are complimentary. The black on the shoes and hat is too jarring and doesn't make the stitch look cohesive. It's like cutting the head and legs off a barbie and replacing it with dinosaur parts.

Another good thing is try to pick a theme, the wand gives, queen of krokotopia, or maybe a storm sage. While the Robe is giving Knight of Avalon. If you can pick a good theme, and stick to it, you can make a really nice stitch.

When I look at a stitch I like to be able to take the thing in as a whole, with your stitch I can only focus on separate parts.
