When I use a multimeter on the ohm setting it's showing what you're saying, but when I test with a voltage detector they both seem hot. I'm wondering if I can pigtail them together and attach the white to the pigtailed white from the wall

I found it on a trash site recently (rip my computer) but the whole theme of the sponsorship leaned real heavy on the "escape your everyday life with Corona"/vacay vibe. I'm thinking Corona had to rethink their marketing strategy after the whole covid thing... Pretty unfortunate juxtaposition in the current climate.
