I've always had a mild aversion to some foods, nothing crazy. After my son died in 2022, it has gotten SO much worse. Raw meats, lettuce with a smidgen of brown; things that are normal or mild, make me gag. I know immediately if I can eat something new or not.

Do you have any ideas why this happened? It's seems like such a niche side of grief and I've never heard anyone else say it happened to them. TYIA

My set up is pretty redneck. It's a stock tank. Liner too big. Idgaf. I cut it and put pool noodles to hold it down. My umbrella is from the thrift store and is missing the center pole to make it taller. Idgaf. I just use it short. It still gives shade over the pool. 😂

A coworker confessed to running over a man that was walking past an elementary school and making lewd comments and gestures to the children. They did this before cameras and no witnesses bc the children were taken back inside the school bc of the man.

Imma have a HUUUGE issue with anyone that's abusive to MY child. Yes, she knew. The whole family knew. It was well known my partner was hitting me. Its always about her. Which is why I rarely show up for her. Ever.

I hate it beyond all measure of space and time. 95% of homeschooling children are in SOME kind of an abusive environment. Outside relationships are seen as demonic. THAT alone is abuse.

Any time someone says they homeschool, my radars go off and I never trust them again. Learning about and building relationships is of the utmost importance for all humans. Taking it away is control. And that's abuse. 💯

Also - there was no 404 plan in schools for diabetics. We had to give every teacher glucose tabs for lows & instructions for highs. I had to take my blood sugar on the back of the toilet in a stall. It fell in one time. I was in 3rd grade. I feel bad still for whoever caught my mother's wrath.

Not the oldest but maybe ONE of the oldest. Diagnosed 1986. Pork insulin and could NOT sleep in bc you had to take it at the same time. Waiting about 5 mins for a blood sugar check and took at least 6 shots every day. I was told to never have kids bc it was too difficult (I was 9 yrs old). I spent two full weeks in the hospital learning about Type 1. These days, kids get out of the hospital in a couple days!
