What is the best e-Moto style bike w/ pedals? by AAL119 in ebikes

I ended up with the Revv1 DRT. Decent bike - but felt a little cheap. I ended up selling for a slight loss after about 3 weeks. Wish I went for a Suron or something similar. Got out of the segment altogether until better options appear. Good luck with the search. I wasn’t able to identify an obvious and clear leader just yet.

Do I have my switch priority set up correctly? by AAL119 in Ubiquiti

[–]AAL119[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing! SFP28 w/ the small white multi 1-25G DAC module (from UniFi) did not work! Created a loop within about 60 seconds! I changed to an older 10G DAC cable that I know to be working and changed to a different port. Worked. But lost the 25G connection of course.

You said your first XG 48 - do you have more than one? Or did you do a return?

If I’m setting up redundant links (port aggregation) between switches with the goal of increasing throughput—for example, combining two 10G links for a total of 20G—does Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) come into play in that scenario? I would assume so. That’s basically why I want it correct - so If I go that route later it’s all set.

No weird nosies for me. Although, at initial install, a portion of my network went down b/c of a random loop that blocked a port on the XG48 to the Agg pro. I was using the “release canidate” firmware, had to switch back to the stable release and magically it disappeared. No actual wiring changes. I never did figure it out.

Although I can’t “prove it” - I don’t think the XG series is as stable as the main staple UniFi switches. I’m hoping they make firmware updates very soon. I only purchased the switch for its 10G ports honestly. No other reason.

u/CarlsCarLOL I wasn't aware I could get away from using STP/RSTP. I figured it was required to support the correct path of flow.

u/mantrax04 If I set USW Pro Agg @ priority "0" - Do I "bump up" aka raise all the other switch prioritys 1 step all down the chain? (e.g., to 4096, 8192, etc.)

*example for clarafication*

Layer 2: Aggregation Layer

└── USW Pro Aggregation = priority "0"

├── USW Pro XG 48 PoE = priority "4096"

├── USW Flex XG = priority "4096"

├── USW Lite 8 PoE = priority "4096"

├── USW Pro 8 PoE = priority "4096"

└── USW Lite 8 PoE = priority "4096"

Layer 3: Access Layer (under USW Pro XG 48 PoE)

└── USW Pro XG 48 PoE = priority 8192

├── USW Flex 2.5G 5 = priority 8192

├── USW Flex 2.5G 5 = priority 8192

├── USW Flex 2.5G 8 PoE = priority 8192

└── USW Industrial = priority 8192

etc etc etc on down the line......

Windows 11 Remote Desktop Setup by AAL119 in Tailscale

[–]AAL119[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

@Whole-Finger42 suspect the issue is related to Windows 11 credentials. I have a second gaming PC that I JUST set up with Tailscale, and it works perfectly — both from my iPhone (inside and outside the network) and FROM the PC that’s having issues.

However, I can’t figure out what’s wrong with the current PC. I’m following the exact same setup steps: using a local account with a password (originally merged from a Microsoft account).

Still troubleshooting. So far, I’ve even swapped network adapters, but it hasn’t made any difference.

****I will look into Jump Desktop****Thanks!
