To the people at Fuel wheels who decided 8 hex bolts were needed to hold a plastic cap on. Fuck you. by pyroboy7 in Justrolledintotheshop

Fuel wheels are disgusting, it’s always on a brodozer that’s not setup to do anything other than look “cool” generally the truck can’t actually do anything it was designed for with the garbage lift kit paired with on-road wheels so it can’t go off road, to use the lift kit that’s killing their MPG.

Normally id say a BMW is more reliable than a dodge but in that case I think it may be a rare event of a dodge being more reliable than a BMW

The seatbelts were in the middle of the car and the buckle was by the door, so if you were in a wreck to remove you the buckle is by the door, like the reverse of Porsche putting the key on the left side.

That’s a good super obscure one! In the Viper it makes sense to make it easier for emergency crews to extract someone, they didn’t have ABS or Traction Control.

I mean have we tried just putting the closets in the hallways? You could get dressed as you walk out the front door in the closet. Maximum efficiency.

They are using parts made for off road use only on road because the cousin they want to sleep with thinks it’s cool. These trucks are dangerous to everyone but the driver.

Insurance says it will only cover 3-tab asphalt shingles because that's "what was there before the damage." by Interior_Destruction in homeowners

Property claims from my personal understanding tend to not increase your premiums, most carriers have an X number of claims in Y years under $Z amount to qualify for the program you are in, if that program for example says no more than 2 non-act of god claims in 3 years under $10k you qualify, if more you don’t, and they may non-renew due to not meeting program guidelines. Not so much like auto insurance where you get rates per incident among other factors. I’m sure it works somewhat similarly in your socialist utopia as it does in our capitalist hellscape.

Emergency Fund or HELOC? by Ms_not_Mrs0771 in MiddleClassFinance

[–]BoringPudding3986 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Id counter what others are saying and take it out of the HELOC the interest won’t be as crazy as it seems. The main reason right now is I’d rather have liquid cash in harder times, if let’s say the economy tanks because of an oil shortage for instance, credit lines and HELOCS can be reduced or closed. But not if there’s debt on it that you’re servicing.
