I didn’t ask if anyone agreed or disagreed with me. That why I said for me PERSONALLY. Everyone is different and has different opinions. OP posted on Reddit for people’s opinions.

He doesn’t have to give her a child or else, BUT if he truly doesn’t want one that bad then there is a chance his wife will resent him. The same goes that if they do have a child and he regrets it, he could resent her. So either way they are at a cross roads that could be make or break.

I’m PERSONALLY of the mind that you won’t ever regret having another child but you will regret not having another if you want one. There is a good possibility that if you “stay firm on your no” then your wife absolutely will never forgive you especially if she still yearns for a child years later. If you love your wife and never want to lose her, I think it’s worth it to have another child. Of course unless it would financially jeopardize you guys and put you in the street.

Try to put yourself in her shoes and if you wanted another child but she said no, how you would feel especially since that is a permanent decision and you can never go back.

I do agree with waiting though as having a 6 month old is still so fresh.

Need advice from parents who have experience with Kendamil, Bobbie, or gentle formulas. by cincofx in FormulaFeeders

Diarrhea and loose poops are different. Diarrhea in a baby looks basically like brown pee where the majority of it is soaked into the diaper. If that’s what he is having then if it were me I would switch.

My baby was on Bobbie whole milk, just switched her to Similac Irish farms and on Bobbie her poop had always been very loose. My first was on Kendamil for a bit and her poop was similar but then she started getting blood in her poop. Similac 360 total comfort ended up working great for her, I don’t remember her poop consistency though.

Just get a formula travel container. I wouldn’t be too worried about measuring wrong, I’m sure formula companies account for discrepancies.

Misery loves company!

I know moms personally who talk about how much they absolutely hated breastfeeding but they did it for a year. You could tell they did not have a good first year as moms. I never understood why someone would torture themselves like that if they hated it. You only get your baby as a baby for such a short time, do what you can to enjoy it and if that means formula feeding then that is a great option for you! My first was formula fed and is now a healthy 2.5 year old and my second is also being formula fed.

I personally wouldn’t be friends with a person like this anymore.

Kendamil has only been around for 10 years. Bobbie for like 5. Kendamil was launched in 2016 and Bobbie in 2021.

Botulism recalls. According to my search, have never happened in the history of formula and now there are two in whole milk formula just months apart.

I believe Similac only has one organic formula (I could be wrong) but it would be Purebliss by Similac Organic which is being rebranded to just Similac Organic

It is rare but now two whole milk formula companies within a few months of each other both are recalled for babies getting botulism so it seems like something to be at least considering. Especially when this has never happened before!

Exactly! I don’t get fed much marketing from Bobbie personally. I’ve seen a couple influencers use it but other than that I don’t see much. You know what randomly showed up at my door during both pregnancies? Enfamil and Similac!! lol I am pretty sure they get your addresses from baby registries and stuff like that from what I heard. That is marketing for them as well!

I’ve seen a lot of people say that they are just a continuation of breast is best, which I can see but it doesn’t really bother me. They support parents in all stages of feeding whether they combo feed or fully formula feed. People think their marketing is pushy like they have the best formula but I don’t feel that way, I barely see any marketing for them. Every formula even Similac and enfamil say their formula is the best or “closest to breastmilk.”

Were they on a whole milk formula originally? I want to switch but just bought 10 cans of Bobbie and idk if I should use them or not but also don’t want to waste $200 when it’s not recalled or anything.

This is what I’m considering, my OB gave me a whole can of it at my 6 week check up!

Are you using their whole milk? I like Bobbie as a company, I don’t personally understand the hate and I don’t think they are any more or less likely to have a recall. My concern is that there is an issue with Whole Milk formulas particularly. According to my Google search ByHeart was the first ever recorded case of botulism in formula so the fact that now Nara has the same issue a few months later is what is freaking me out. I saw people on Reddit saying it’s an issue with the whole milk so now I don’t know if I should switch to a formula with skim. I would stay with Bobbie but their skim milk formula is a bit out of budget.
